Chocolate Cappuccino

This brand has great flavor.

I have tried the blueberry cobbler, donut shop, and chocolate cappuccino versions of this coffee. The blueberry cobbler was interesting -- definitely smelled wonderful, and didn't have a chemical taste, but truthfully, it also didn't have a very pronounced blueberry taste at all. The donut shop was a great light roast, probably my favorite out of the group and a reinforcement to me that flavoring in coffee is pretty much always a detriment. In line with that, the chocolate cappuccino was terribly bitter and difficult to drink. It doesn't look like this company sells whole bean coffee, which is a shame because I prefer to be able to grind the coffee beans myself.

We love this coffee! My wife likes "variety" and we have a selection of five different specialty flavors that we cycle through. We also use their Caramel Macchiatto. Yum, my favorite. In case you are interested, the other three in the cycle are: Dunkin Caramel Me Crazy, Dunkin French Vanilla, and last but also yummy Great Value Creme Brulee.

I've had this coffee before and probably left a review before, but I like it and was so happy to see it for this price.

The first time I brewed it and tasted it, it didn't taste anything like chocolate, just black coffee. I was really disappointed at first. The funny thing is that I was on a coffee ordering kick at the time and impulsively bought a few flavored coffees, and I actually bought another one of these just because of how seductive it looked and sounded, so I tried to cancel my order but it was too late. I stayed with it, though. The next time I tried the coffee was when it had cooled down, and I drank it with ice. Okay, I started tasting the chocolate then. Maybe it's just my taste buds, but if you like to drink ice coffee this is a moderate one, if you like the aroma of chocolate then this probably isn't for you, there isn't much of a smell to it, unless you're putting your nose into the thing and smelling it, there's little smell when it's brewing. Next time I put " too much " grinds into the filter, and tried it then, I could taste something of what the presentation gives off. On the scale of 1-5 in flavor power, this is a 3 if you put an extra scoop of coffee grinds in the filter, 2 if you don't. Maybe it was a bad batch, but mildly disappointed with the one I got.

Very smooth and not too strong.

This is a very flavorful coffee, nice chocolate aroma and taste. Recommended!
