Casper Sleep Essential Mattress, Full, 2018 Edition

I'm an 83 year old side sleeper, and my shoulders ache. With the Casper, my left shoulder is almost pain free and my right shoulder is better. I also am getting a more sound sleep. The only regret I have is that I did not get the mid grade. I went for the basic mattress. And the basic mattress is more than worth the money.

Not too soft (which was a concern) and it soaks up all the pressure points.And, not hot or warm (another concern) seems to be just right in that area.The XL Twin fit this new frame in width, but the mattress was 2 " too long in the length.I checked the measurements. It was the frame too short...So watch the frame. .. they don't have accurate measurements.This mattress is sure to measurement.

I bought this mattress for a guest bed, and we love it. It's very comfortable -- not too firm and not too soft. I've slept in it a few times, and slept great all night. I have back issues and other pains, and this felt good for my body.

Love this mattress, had a hard time getting used to it, but after a few weeks it wasn't a problem. I wouldn't say it was discouraging me from sleeping on my side, it was just more or less encouraging me to sleep on my back. I sleep like a child on this thing. Sometimes when I've had a long day I can feel my back floating on it and it just pops. It's incredible.Are their better mattresses? Probably but this one does the job for me, so well, i really dont care to sleep anywhere else.

Was comfortable at first but has broken down very rapidly. I am not a big guy, 5' 9" 170lbs so I expected this to last a lot longer. It now provides little support so my back and neck are sore every morning.

Like sleeping in a bean bag chair, no support, sinking here and there in an ackward positions. I also can't even really lay on the edge of the mattress. Too soft. I roll right off the bed. It's terrible.

As expected, it comes in a box and it is fun to unroll this and watch it inflate. Perhaps the fact that it inflates into a mattress is why they call it memory foam because I could not discern anything to do with sleeping on this that indicated anything other than I'm sleeping on a very big piece of foam that might be used in a couch cushion or such.I had expected to material to mold to my body and to sink in a bit. That doesn't happen for me - I do sink in, but mostly by chest to my butt and my legs end up tilted slightly upwards with my feet almost being just off the mattress. Perhaps I need something a bit firmer (I'm 40 lbs more than I should be) as this isn't working great for me. Just feels like I'm sleeping on the couch. No viscoelastic effect. I've had for a week and I'm not thrilled with it but giving it some more time to see if it gets better.

We only buy foam mattresses now. My kids sleep on Casper and we sleep on a Ghost Bed. Both are extremely comfortable. They help me to wake up without extra back pain and stiffness. Great mattress at a great price.

My son loves this mattress! He sleeps better and is far far happier. The mattress provides excellent support and is amazingly stable. When I replace the other mattresses the will definitely be the same!

I did quite a bit of research on mattresses for adjustable beds and found this one to be the best for my 83 year old father. He was always moving from his bed to his Lazy-boy chair to get a comfortable sleep. It was time to bite the bullet and get something that he could enjoy and benefit from. So, he treated himself to his bed and the Casper Sleep Essential mattress. He has never been one to take naps in the afternoon as he is always on the go. Since he has been sleeping for the past 2 weeks on this new mattress, afternoon naps are now part of his routine. (no pressure points, no night sweats, better circulation in his legs, no wheezing and coughing at night) He loves it!! The only negative is that I had to check for a video online on how to unbox and unwrap it, as there were no instructions in the box.

great price and good mattress

I tested many beds in a store and liked the Casper the best. I bought it through Amazon due to a lightning deal. It arrived and seemed decent but its much thinner than the older models in a store. I weigh about 135lbs and if I'm sitting up in my bed, I can sometimes feel the slats underneath the mattress. Not sure what the return policy is with this but I can't NOT have a bed so I'm stuck with it.
