"Kevin's Studio" is definitely not for beginners
This is not a kit for beginners. This is the 4th mini I have constructed, and the 3rd from this company. The instructions in this particular kit were dismally inadequate, and in a fair number of steps were just flat out wrong, as were a few of the provided dimensions. If you follow their instructions without thinking things through and measuring for yourself, you will end up with something that doesn't go together right, and will most likely wind up short on supplies. I had to improvise on many of the plants because their instructions were indecipherable and the final product looked cartoon-ish. I am happy with my end product, but the level of difficulty on this kit was extreme. I would not recommend it unless you want a major challenge.

Let’s face it...
Miniature dollhouse kits are NOT inclusive.I guess it’s in the name DOLLHOUSE! But still! It is absolutely impossible to find a kit that you can gift it to BOYS! Everything is very girly in the miniature dollhouse world! So I got this one to give to 2 little boys who are pretty sad that only the girls get mini houses as gifts from me.I painted the pink cardboard parts blue and problem solved. Now for the review.I started building this studio this past weekend. I’m still fairly new to this hobby and this is just my 5th miniature.I am glad though that it wasn’t one of my first ones.I wouldn’t say this is too advanced but it’s definitely not for beginners. There are some things that I find better than some of the other kits/brands I used. All the materials are nicely packed, bags are numbered from 1 to 5, which is very helpful. All other kits I used bags had letters A to C and sometimes multiple bags with the same letter. Very confusing. The instruction manual is very different from all I have seen so far. For starters, there’s no master list of matérias in the beginning of the book.Instead materials and their locations (which bags we can find them) are listed by pieces to be made. That is actually very very extremely helpful because you don’t need to keep going back to the beginning of the book to figure out where to find the piece.Every piece that you need to make is pictured in the book, first the completed piece, next to it there are individual pictures of each material you will need to complete that piece and underneath a written list of what they are and which bag you find them. Which is great because the translation is just awful. Without the pictures and where they aren’t it would be almost impossible to figure out some of that stuff by their translated names.Every step of construction is pictured but a lot of the pictures are not very clear. They are not the best of pictures and there was a lot of guessing from my part. There’s very little wooden pieces in this kit, which was a first for me. Most of the things are build with wire which makes this kit a bit more difficult.I use a really good glue (beacon 3 in 1) and still! Takes forever for the wire to glue making the whole process of building this a lot slower. (It is already a slow process so you can only imagine. The paper bits are well organized visibly numbered but the paper is very low quality. So far I have t seen any kit with this kind of paper. It’s more flimsy than other kits and for some pieces that’s a plus but for most it’s just difficult to glue and build. The lights! I still don’t understand why the lights came the way they did. They basically jeans you the light tips and you have to wire all of them (instead of the regular small led lights or their kits some with) it was a pain! Also instructions tell you to CLIP the wire on the lights. Thank Goodness I thought of marking which side was positive and which one was negative BEFORE clipping them, otherwise it would have been a mess. You can’t attach each colored wire in whatever side of the light you want. So PAY ATTENTION to that before you clip them.Overall quality is also different from what I’ve seen so far in other kits. But it’s cute!!!!I would totally recommend this kit, but not if you are a newbie. Work on some other kits before you dive on this one. I totally recommend CUTEBEE kits if you are a beginner and then try this one when you get some experience. Especially with WIRES! A lot of things here are done with wires and hinestky it’s a pain! :(But if you can do it well it will look great?

Cheapest and worst one I've done
I've done quite a few of these. This (Kevin's Sorry Cheap Studio) is the ONLY one where every single piece is cardboard! Even the walls! It has to be punched out of a cardboard sheet which leaves horrible ugly edges. It's absolute trash. I'm going to return it and get one that won't collapse if I sneeze. Every other one, the pieces are wood and aren't half-cut out of pink cardboard sheets.

Cute kit - directions aren’t great
The directions on this kit were not great (this is my third completed kit). Measurements were off and the scale of some items in the pictures is not accurate for the measurements or materials given. Lots of tedious wirework to make furniture and fixtures - which is my least favorite part of these. However - it is super cute and I customized some details, but it did take longer than other kits to complete.

Not for beginners but awesome build!
I’ve built 4 different diy kits already and this one is by far the hardest one I’ve done. Definitely not for a beginner. This one required a lot of wire use and if you mess up, you won’t have enough later (problem I encountered). So I improvised and made some changes. Overall, directions are easy to understand I just wish some of the parts were bagged separately, especially the wires. They were a hassle to pull out of the bag.

Cute but difficult!
So cute, but this is not easy to assemble. I made a lot of changes. When I’m finished I’ll post a picture.

Very detailed and challenging construction, but cute once completed
These products are a great way to keep my 15 year old busy during quarantine. But whoever puts them together must be patient, artsy, and dedicated. My 14 year old niece could not complete one as the assembly is challenging. But if you can finish one they are super cute.

High Quality Miniatures
Making these miniature settings has become a favorite hobby of mine. Tiny pieces but excellent directions and the finished product is very impressive. If you enjoy detail work, this is the hobby for you.
