Dirt Cheap and They Work... LOL
PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLEEEEE - be realistic here! These thermometers were DIRT CHEAP. So... as long as you understand that the red C mark of "37° " is actually 98.6° F than you're good to go. I do believe these are rectal thermometers so... that's a bit odd... LOL. You can easily look up any varying Celsius degree readings online. No biggie. It's much better than my digital thermometer I paid $25 for. It was reading 2° HIGH and making me think I was a lot sicker than I actually was. On a Dr's visit I whipped out my $25 digital and it was WRONG every time. I'm glad I bought this thing.

Not too accurate and not sure if oral or rectal
I have two real mercury thermometers still going strong after 70 years and four generations. One of mine has a slightly broken case so I bought this Qupida thermometer for the case. For $2.60, I didn't expect a thermometer.I've found that all digital thermometers are inaccurate and fluctuate from one minute to the next whether oral or in the ear. This Qupida thermometer said my temperature was 37.4 or 99.32 degrees. I'm not the least bit sick so I used my mercury thermometer and it came out 97.4 -- which happens to be my normal temperature and always has beenI tested the Qupida again and, this time, it read 36.3 or 97.34, a tiny touch lower than my normal temperature. A third time, it read 36.3 -- the same as the second time. I conclude that the first try out of the box was a fluke. Perhaps the glass was still hot from being in the hot mailbox or something like that. I would rely on the Qupida over any digital thermometer but I still like my mercury ones the best.I used the Qupida orally but it was difficult to keep the tip under my tongue easily unless I bite down lightly on the thermometer glass which was no problem. I looked at photos of oral and rectal thermometers but I still don't know what kind this is. When I received the Qupida, there was a tiny oil stain on the internal number scale which looks to be a thick paper or thin cardboard. After I shook down the liquid, there was more staining. The gauge was not easy to read.

Great thermometer.
Its a genuine mercury thermometer. What else can be said? Separated medium consolidates with a shake or two.

Crap temp
Supposed to be an Oral thermometer, but it's a anal. Supposed to be in Fahrenheit, but in Celsius. It delivered in over 4 weeks..... but only cost $2.62.So, I only wasted my time not alot of money.

I like this type
It's really practical and accurate.. F or C doesn't really matter as it gives as a red mark at the reference..

Thermometer for use only in China.
This product is terrible!! It’s made for Chinese residents, not an American thermometer. If it didn’t cost $3.00 I would have shipped it back. It would cost more to ship back!

Product doesn't work.
This particular thermometer is not a good quality product. It has extremely small numbers, will not work, and it's just cheap. I should have expected that though because, "you get what you pay for."

Thermometer
It works as long as you have that extra piece to put it in and shake it
