I love this shampoo! My scalp feels so much better after using this. Had some itching problems and it is much improved! Only thing is the charcoal turns your shower black and can stain tile. Rinse your shower well after using and it will be fine.

My daughter has severe seborrheic dermatitis (a more severe form of dandruff).This shampoo has made her less itchy and her hair is soft and shiny. The only down side is it leaves black residue in the shower.

It cleaned my hair about as well as any sulfate free shampoo, which is not great. My hair is oily enough that I can wash twice with Dawn dish soap without conditioner and still comb through it after without any issues (and still need to wash my hair again the next day). It did not help with oil and left charcoal residue in my scalp, which was okay because I have dark hair. This is probably not a good product for light hair.Not only was it costly and not clarifying, but it stains. I threw out my shower curtain and had to use Drano and scrub brush to get the charcoal stains out of my vintage claw foot enamel bathtub. Nothing would remove it and I was resigned to it being permanent, but when I had a clog, I noticed that Drano did the trick. Still, not all of it came out.

Not Curly Girl Friendly, dried my hair out. It has drying alcohols, and does have a sulfate. I not only asked Curly Girl Hair groups I asked the creator of one of the groups who is the creator of the Curly girl method, to know that some ingredients in this is not good for Curly hair. It dried my hair out, and frizzed my daughter's hair up. After we stopped using it our hair went back to being ok, but it is still recovering from dryness. It might work for other hair types so I will not totally knock it, but it is not a good product for curly hair.

This is the best, most effective, gentlest shampoo I've used! I feel so clean afterward, but it doesn't dry out my hair or leave black residue. Although, it is VERY black, and will leave stains on your tub and shower walls if you don't wash off right away. I have medium thick hair, and a palm-full of this gets worked all the way through easily. My hair is naturally voluminous, and this helps aid in keeping the volume even after adding product, while not making me look like an electrocuted lion. I can go a week without washing my hair and it's barely oily thanks to this shampoo!

My hair looks much better since I started using this product. I’m quite happy with it and if you have hair that isn’t helped by the standard conditioners out there this one is a great choice. I have oily hair and since I started using this conditioner my hair looks much less oily and feels less damaged.

This is a must have! If you are familiar with that charcoal amd products associated with it, you know how it cleanes, purifies and clarifies. You can literally tell the difference with initial use and each use after that. I have natural hair, sister locs, and I need to keep my locs thoroughly clarified and cleansed! It lathers well...don't be fooled. I simply love it!

I have used charcoal based products on my skin with great results so I decided to try this conditioner for my hair. At first I was skeptical because I have platinum blonde hair but I was really surprised and happy with the results. My hair feels very good and tangle free. It does not at all alter the hair color. Very rich but does not leave any residue or weight down hair. I recommend Activated Charcoal Keratin Conditioner!

This is the best shampoo I've ever used and doesn't have all those Chemicals in it

Works pretty good. Hair felt pretty clean and nutrialized. I guess it does what it's supposed to but nother too special to report.

Makes my hair feel/look good .Prepare to clean your shower/bathtub more than regular.

Love the "clean" aspects to this product (sulfate free, etc). Also, the activated charcoal is a plus - leaves my hair feeling soft without being weighted down!

We have hard water and it left my daughter's blonde hair blonde & more silky feeling, mine was slightly more silky than before.

It’s a great product but you need to use more quantity compared to other products. Also you need more water to clean it from the hair.

Good cleansing shampoo. I would recommend it once or twice a week.
