By Pat Conroy: Beach Music

Ah, well, it's Pat Conroy. Enough said. Beautifully written, as always. Too bad the wireless social media generation will not know what it is like to have a single event galvanize an entire generation to the point that extreme sacrifices must be made and growing up happens overnight. Baby Boomers will love this book.

This is a good story. I am reading this book in the bigger paperback version, but its thick and clumsy to carry around.So, I am glad I found this mass market edition. I look forward to continuing the story and finding out how it all ends.I give it 4 stars for now, but recommend reading it.

Amazing picture of South Carolina. Fun for me as my Dads family is from there.Wonderfully colorful and heart rendering.
