Weberpart # 63018 Door Assembly for 18.5" Smokey Mountain Smoker

All indid was remove the old one and insert this one and off to smoking I went.. and.. my brisket, my first ever brisket came out marvellllous!!! I was so happy with the results. I might try to install a gasket later but it worked perfect without one!!. Highly recommend.

I like the fact that it fits my Weber smoky mountain 18 inch smoker. I melted the original one when I got the fire too hot. I was using it to burn tree stumps.

I got great customer service with my order . Original order was delivered to the wrong address however the company quickly responded with a new order and timely delivery . I would have given 5 stars if the part hadn’t been so pricey . However , Weber quality is excellent so it is okay .

I hadn't used the smoker all summer and it had a healthy growth of mold growing on the inside. I figured the best way to clean it was to burn up some super-dry white cedar, from a tree I took down, which I have for my fire-pit starter wood. I wanted to get a good carbon layer on the grates as well, so I built the fire up nice and high. Well, apparently, the high-temp plastic handle and the thermometer probe gasket thing are no match for the fire I had going. The handle crumbed to bits, as did the temp probe. Thankfully, this replacement door worked perfectly, as did the new temp probe gasket. I also added a fire-proof seal around the door and lid and now I can control the temps far more accurately in the smoker.

This door works great on my old Weber Smoky Mountain Smoker. My old door finally would not close properly.

I received a Weber smoker without the door. This door fits perfectly and a very small price to pay for a perfect smoker.

This fit as exactly as it should. Looks exactly like the original door. Only thing is, might want to round the door a little more with a can of paint to get it flush with the body of smoker. I added a LavaLock gasket to ensure a tight seal
