Tight-fitting adapters that work perfectly
These are great to adapt the few SO-239 devices I have to the much lower-loss BNC standard. Obviously I still get the loss by having the so-called UHF connector in the mix, but at least I don't have to buy cables that inherently have this problem. The SWR meter I have ( MFJ-874 ) only has SO-239 ports on it. These adapters provide a simple way to put the meter in-line in my car without changing my setup. I use BNC adapters on my Baofeng PoFung GT-3 Mark-II Transceiver and SMA Male to BNC Female on my Icom ID-51A PLUS Transceiver to swap between a mag-mount antenna in my car and MFJ-1717 handheld antennas. Because of the frequent connect/disconnect actions, using BNC puts far less stress on the connectors built into the radios. I have also used these with success on my Kenwood TM-V71A tranceiver which I use as a base station, again to run through the SWR meter.

Work as Expected
I use these adapters to connect BNC antennas to (receive-only) radios with a UHF input. They do exactly what they are supposed to, and I have had no issues with them over the last 3-4 months of use.
