Size:ca. 10 cm From the sea-bed of the Mediterranean, these are the very best quality and are a beautiful whole sponge just as it has grown, rounded and with regular pores. Once cut, these rapidly re-grow and the environment is not harmed in any way by their removal. 16 cm diameter sponges and above are available with the addition of a cotton rope to enable the sponge to be hung to aid drying.

Not a great cake...
I tried it with chocolate butter cream icing and it was very chewy... I would stick to a Victoria Sponge.

Awful
I've been buying natural sponges for my small son for a few years because they are so soft and lovely. They usually last 6 months - 1 year before they start to fall apart. This sponge is far and away the worst we've ever had. It remains fairly hard even when soaked with water, and began breaking up after 1-2 weeks. We are so gentle with it but bits just break off in the water. Not happy for the price. Have decided to give up and start using synthetic sponges that are £1 for 2 from bodycare instead. Save your money.

Good qualiity natural sponge as per size stated, 10cm (ignore all the comments about it being small)
I ordered 2 no. sponges and I am very happy with them. Once out of the wrapper (where they are compressed) and in water the sponge expands and both of mine were over 10cm in size.I don't understand people posting photos of it still in the wrapper and claiming it is small, sponges expand in water as we know....!I also don't understand the comments about it being too small to bathe with? It is a perfectly adequate size for bathing but perhaps not for washing/bathing your car. Also comments about in being hard, once in water it's not. They are also well priced compared to others on sale and I am so glad I did not listen to the negative reviews as I am very happy with mine.

Very small
Very disappointed with the size of sponge expected much larger . Postage was very expensive as there is no weight in sponge . Haven’t used it yet as only come today but I will review as to usage .

It might not be yellow colour.
We usually buy natural sea sponges for the kids. It arrived very shortly after purchase, but unfortunately it was very dark something growing there. we understand it's a natural product, and this might happen, but it does not look very appealing to use. Probably after a soda wash it will get cleaner.

Arn't They Embarrassed?
The should be embarassed to sell customers a sponge like this for the price! 10cm its claim must be in circumference. When wet and with soap this thing will roll around in your palm. I'm a 5"4 woman average size and thats what it does! I've learned to grip it using my finger tips while in the shower. Don't waste your money!

Too small
Well, it did say minimum 10cm on the description - and it is JUST 10cm in length, but smaller than that in width. Not practical for even a small child, let alone an adult - strictly for babies, I would suggest. Also because of its size, it loses lather very quickly. Not bad, but not the greatest quality, either. Better off getting a larger one, unless its for a baby.

Inconsistent quality, some good, some terrible
First sponge I purchased was excellent. It was soft and absorbent and suitable for our baby's bath time. But 2nd time and the sponge is awful. It was completly different, hard, unabsorbent.See my picture of the old one versus the new one.Item description also mentions string on the sponge, which isn't the case.
