Great starter kit
This is a great set. It got me started on my sourdough journey. Of course I’ve added and switched things out, but I do still use quite a bit from this set. I highly recommend it as a starter kit.

good set for beginners. Sm oval basket had a hole in it. Flimsy plastic measuring cups. The dough mat is a great buy in this set. Happy baking!

This kit is great for starters. The temperature band is great tool to control the temperature of active environment. This helps a lot when you are new to sourdough world.

So if you’ve got a functioning kitchen and a slight curiosity about artisan bread, you’re 95 percent there. My wife and daughter have fallen deep into the sourdough cult. I mean community. It’s like a pandemic, only with more carbs. They’re constantly feeding starters, naming them like pets, and handing out bread and bubbling jars to unsuspecting neighbors like it’s a yeast-based MLM. This kit? It’s a great place to start. The proofing baskets are solid and come with liners and covers. The jars are perfect for your bubbly science experiments.
