A really good grinder that actually does espresso grinding well
The OutIn grinder is a pleasure to use. Build quality is excellent — smooth action, clean machining, and a very compact size. The curved catch cup is a thoughtful touch, allowing the grounds to fall out cleanly without clumping. The threaded cup and basket adapters add to the sense of precision and care in the design. In terms of performance, it can grind fine enough for really good espresso at settings 1 and 2, especially if you use fresh beans. For light to moderate use or travel, it performs impressively well. That said, expecting it to match a dedicated home espresso grinder like the Niche Zero is still asking a lot — they’re in different leagues in terms of consistency and long-term precision. I tested it with four grinds on a single charge, and the battery life seems perfectly adequate for light to moderate use. Pros • Excellent build quality and finishing • Compact and portable • Curved catch cup = easy grounds transfer • Threaded adapter and basket design is thoughtful • Fine enough grind for good espresso at settings 1–2 with fresh beans • Battery life seems solid (4 grinds without issue) Cons • Not as consistent as high-end grinders (Niche, etc.) obviously! But just great for what it is… • Best for portability, not daily heavy-duty espresso use Bottom line: A beautifully made grinder with thoughtful details and solid battery life. It can produce good espresso when dialed in at the lower settings with fresh beans — just don’t expect it to fully replace a high-end home espresso grinder.

Had it for about two months now. Use it once a day for my morning coffee. I've mostly used the fine grind, and the results are consistent and comparable to my Baratza plug in grinder. This has a nice design, feels solidly built, and comes with a convenient traveling/storage pouch. I brew about 20-24 grams of beans and most times it grinds them all in one go. Sometimes some of beans didn't drop all the way down so I need to shake it slightly and run it again for a few seconds to finish the grind. If I was grinding more, I suspect I might have to run it twice to get all the beans. Using it once daily, I've gone about two weeks (M-F) between charges. If I used it multiple times a day I'd probably need to charge it more often. It's also so much quieter than my burr grinder plug in machine too. The ground coffee likes to stick to the top when you unscrew the cup so the brush it comes with is helpful. Though I just tap it gently a couple times and a lot comes loose. The only thing I wish was if the cup at the bottom had some kind of subtle spout design for better control when pouring the ground coffee into my aeropress device. Sometimes it spreads out a little when pouring and some of it misses the Aeropress funnel, which makes a mess. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase so far, and I hope it lasts a long time. If it does, then it was well worth the price tag. Would recommend it. Though wait for it to go on sale maybe if you're having sticker shock, cause it does sometimes drop. I think I saw it at ~$89 in this past year.

I use it to grind for espresso and have had no problems. I enjoy one coffee a day and the grinder lasts for days and days without needing to be recharged. If I was being really picky I'd say the wheel to adjust the grind size could be easily moved when closing the hopper, if you're not careful, you also have to give it a little knock or shake and start it up again to make sure everything has been ground. It does also take quite a long time to finish grinding but if you set that going first and get on with your other prep then you're not waiting on it to finish anyway. As the title suggests, I'm really happy with this grinder and would recommend it.
