It's very flimsy.
The blade only smashes the leather. I am a small lady and the first time I used it it bent in half. After straightening it back out and using it more gently, the only thing it did was shave small uneven patches and smash the edges of the leather. Not worth buying.

Might work if the blades were scalpel-sharp. Won't make a straight cut. Heck, it won't even cut without a considerable amount of effort. Will be returning.

Do not buy.
Absolute piece of junk. Do not buy. Doesn't remove just mashes as others have said. Cant catch an edge at all.
