Enjoying the information provided in this book
I like nutrition books and I am not disappointed with this one. A lot of facts and explanations given throughout. I have already started the plan for several reasons besides losing some weight. One being that this plan goes into showing you how to determine if you have food sensitivities and allergies. I think Iโm a pretty healthy eater but still cannot seem to lose the 10 pounds I would like to and donโt feel well at times. The Plan makes sense To me and thatโs important.

Bad Diet
Although we generally follow a healthy diet that is largely plant-based and organic, my husband and I gave an honest try to the extreme elimination diet recommended in this book. My motivation was relief from the arthritis that is crippling my hands. We also trusted the book because it is recommended by Prevention magazine. However, after eleven days we felt physically and mentally exhausted, likely because of the almost complete absence of protein (except for some protein powder twice a day in smoothies). As soon as we ate a couple of eggs, we started feeling better and went back to our usual healthy diet. I did not experience even a small amount of relief from the arthritis.

I think I wasted my money
I did read some of this book the information was old it was a boring read and most of the info was stuff I already knew I'm glad I bought it used I took the book to my local used book store to donate maybe it will help someone else.

Great results!
Dr. Kirshner has been treating me for over a month and I am feeling amazingly well. I am 60 years old and for 10 years have been feeling fatigued and general body aches along with insomnia. I was ready to do whatever it takes to feel better and although the food changes have not all been fun, the results are worth it. All of my previous problems have already resolved and my BMI is in the mid teens. I canโt wait to see how I feel in 6 months!

I have an autoimmune disease with widespread inflammation. I read and followed the plan in this book. I was able to wean myself off of Prednisone, while on this plan, and have remained off and feeling much better. Blood test results were much improved as well. Following the plan was not easy, but it was worth it. I really thought that the initial cleanse and reset part of the program was key for my body to heal itself. This is not a part of the plan to skip. I did not find any very strong reactions to any of the food, just a little to eggs. I do find that when I don't have the morning shake recipe for several days in a row, I can feel it. I have learned and maintain a much better diet now. I can feel when I am off track for too long, and crave to get back to clean and fresh foods. It seems to me, the right foods can really Cure, it is worth it!

this book
this book outlines how to manage a healthy liver. we all know how important the liver is and if you take the time to eat right and do your best to eat FOR your liver and not against it - we can all be much healthier! the liver is the trash dump for your body - with all we eat these days, it's no wonder soooooo many people have a fatty liver. give it a go, stick with it for like two months - i mean two months, that's nothing - right? see how ya feel - i'm sure you'll feel ten times better. more energy, less fatigue, better skin, it's remarkable. the body is remarkable! take care of it!!
