Baby Einstein Symphony Gears Musical Gear Toddler Toy with Lights and Melodies, Ages 12 months and up

Bought this for my daughter when she was 1. It was her favorite toy for like a year. She is 4 now and still plays with it sometimes. Bought it also for my niece and nephew, and it's a hit over there too

I bought this as a gift for my 1 yr old. He enjoys it as much as a 1 yr old can. My 3 yr old also plays with it. I like this toy because the music sounds nice, it's not annoying like some musical toys tend to be. I also like that it helps my little guy with stacking and turning a gear. The stickers are starting to come off slightly but not too bad. I think the gears are just big enough that he doesn't put them in his mouth as much as some other toys.

Awesome toy! Like other reviews mention, soak the stickers off the gear pieces in hot water before using, they will end up in baby's mouth right away if you don't. They add NO value to the toy and won't be missed. In fact, the toy looks better with the see through gears once the stickers are gone. The company should just save trees and stop adding this.

This toy plays the best music that I have ever experienced with baby/toddler toys! The tone is incredible, and the length of each musical segment is longer than in some toys. The tone, music and the beautiful lights that go on and off during the musical segments make this perhaps the best toy in this category that I have ever purchased. We love it so much!! Thank you Baby Einstein!!!!

"our" baby (grandchild) is only 14 months -- but LOVES anything musical. And her mother? -- musical! (by training). Unfortunately, the FIRST one we received? had a glitch (and only played one repetitive piece -- instead of "7") The replacement? is very enjoyable!! The "orchestra" depends on what cog is engaged/ per instrument -- a rather complicated toy, for such an inexpensive price! G/d's mom loves it!! (and is rather engaged by it!!) And? the child loves it -- and will enjoy it, through developmental stages.

We bought this for our 13-month-old to play with on a long road trip, and it’s a hit! It spins, and the gears also double as stacking cups. He’s been sitting here, happily playing with it, for the last half hour.The only downside is that I bought it used from Amazon in “good condition,” and one of the gears was missing. I thought I’d get a unit with some bumps and scratches or with stickers missing, but I thought it’d all be intact. I was disappointed about that, but I was still happy to have saved $10. All in all it was a great purchase, and I’d recommend this toy to others.

I got this for my son’s first birthday present, he’ll be 2 next month and this has constantly been in his toy rotation (which is quite small by the way; we prefer quality over quantity). I initially got this for him as around a year old he showed a lot of interest in music and creating sounds (I got this and the wooden piano by baby Einstein as well, that’s a hit still too). At first he didn’t do a whole lot with it, it was mostly me playing around with it and him watching me. He caught on pretty quickly and before we knew it he was stacking the cups, creating tunes and having a blast. Now it’s the toy he always asks to take “night night” with him. And that’s why I’m writing a review now. He’s settling down for bed and I can hear him calmly making some music. It actually makes our night routine very easy. Once I lay him down for bed he plays music until he drifts off to sleep. I’ll be saving this toy for subsequent children because I love it! We just recently replaced the batteries for the first time as well.

Purchased one for each 1 year old grandchild and they love making the music. Great to keep them content as well as learning hand eye coordination. Even the older grandkids (4 &5) have fun helping them. Not an annoying gift either with the music instead of just loud noise. Parents are happy with that.
