Much better than I expected
I wanted something different for my cabinets. But didn't want to damage underneath. These are beautiful. Smudges wipe right off. I get rave reviews. But you have been warned. Remove just plastic edges, to help with positioning. But do not take off the plastic covers front or back, until you are absolutely, positively sure of positioning. The glue is not as strong on second application. I couldn't find anything to hold the weight. I decided to get more tiles and not make the same mistake again. Extra won't hurt. Cutting them to fill in the gaps was very easy, after I sacrificed a tile or two. You'll be happy with the outcome.

Excellent. Works as described.
I love my new backslash. It makes my ordinary kitchen look much better, and it works like it should. I don't know what the negative reviews are about, but this product is good for my kitchen.

AWESOMENESS
I really like these "tiles". It looks a little funky and different...Price is great too.I'm not finished yet, but you can see the difference from the white wall before. It looks fantastic with all my stainless steel and nickel finish too. Easy to handle, cut and place. I cut with hobby knife. No problem. And they stick really good, so don't change your mind after placing them. It might be very difficult to get them off.Awesome product..I highly recommend.

Bar cart
Created a bar cart from an old dresser. These tiles are perfect for the decorative backing I wanted. A little harder to work with than I would like (cutting), but worth the effort!

Nice brushed metal, easy to install!
Very nice brushed metal surface. Kitchen backsplash was a great project for us beginners. Clear instructions provided. We made as precise markings as possible, and were insanely careful about placement of each 'tile', but still made minor mistakes here and there. We used a Dremel with tiny round circular metal cutting blade and carpenter's square atop marked measurements to cut. Burrs were left at cut lines; a "soft" sanding sponge helped a bit, but had to be careful to only sand the cut edge and prevent scratching the soft surface metal. Instructions suggested using a file, but we were paranoid about filing the precise edge too much. Outlet cuts were no problem with the Dremel. While spec'ing out placement, we taped paper on tile back, rubbed pencil on the outlet parts on the wall, then pressed tile in place to get imprint onto paper. Then, drew outlet cover plate onto paper, and cut 1/4 inch in from drawn plate edge. The tiles are very nice!!

Absolutely Gorgeous!
As the norm, I wasn't sure about ordering these square tiles sight unseen. But when I open the box I knew they belonged. I wasn't sure about doing the whole backsplash in these or just above the stove. so I line them up with the backsplash and decided it was a bit too cold even though they were beautiful abd change design depending on the angle you were standing. Pretty cool. I have a very monotone modern kitchen and this breaks it up just a bit. Like a bit of an architectural feature. One thing I think is worth mentioning. you have about one and a half shots of getting this right once they're stuck there they are for good. I put the tile on an angle before I actually placed it down that way you can move around more. you must be careful not to put the exact same tile next to each other or you will not get this mismatched effect. I almost made that mistake, my husband brought it to my attention before I laid it flat. I absolutely love looking at it everyday it gives me pleasure these are beautiful and worth every dime. If you like this particular ultra-modern look these are for you.. if you have a farmhouse kitchen they may not work so well. These took my kitchen up just a notch highly recommend! beautiful material high quality and cut easily with a saw. You cannot use a box cutter on these or an exacto knife.

Made the perfect backsplash
We put this in the where an old microwave left a hole in our backsplash when we put in a stainless steel hood vent. We are very happy with the outcome. It was easy to install and is easy to clean. We even used a box cutter to separate the individual tiles and used his miter saw to cut some of the tiles to fill in the sides where a full tile wouldn't fit. It was perfect for our needs and looks awesome!

Makes an easy install backsplash.
OK, this product is far superior to traditional tile and grout: light weight, easy to cut (use a good hacksaw with a new, sharp metal blade) simple to install. Repels water and looks great. Highly recommend this product !
