I've always had severe allergies. It's a part of my most vivid childhood memories unfortunately - sneezing nonstop in school, walking outside when the lawn had just been mowed and having a coughing fit, going to a friend's house, petting their cat, and having chest tightness and an itchy throat.As an adult, my allergies persisted, of course. I would try a nose spray or an allergy pill, but I was never very consistent with them. Then I found myself taking Benadryl a lot because an allergy attack would come on, sometimes seemingly out of the blue, and I'd be forced to take one. Of course, it would knock me out, and I was barely functional on it. That's when I knew I had to commit to taking something daily, even though I didn't like the idea of having to take another daily medication (I have other health issues.)A family member told me that Claritin always worked well for her. I went to the pharmacy and bought a bottle. I didn't notice relief right away, but I figured I'd stick with it because unlike Benadryl or Zyrtec, I didn't experience any side effects. I'm someone who's very prone to negative side effects, which is another reason I'd avoided taking a daily allergy medicine, so I was surprised that I didn't experience any.After about 10 days, I noticed it was definitely working. My itchy throat was gone and my chest wasn't as tight. The only thing was that it was pretty expensive. I went on Amazon and discovered that these are comparable, and I took a chance on them. Now I've been taking them daily for years with no issues. I've had the same results that I had initially with Claritin, so I would never switch back.I do still have occasional allergy symptoms now and then when exposed to one of my major allergens, but overall, my quality has improved because of these. I suggested them to my parents who've been taking them for several months and also feel that their overall health has improved because of them. They haven't experienced any side effects either.

I started taking these daily under the guidance of my oncologist to prevent bone aches from the GCSF shots. They work so incredible I continue to take them for my allergies. No side effects at all. And the price is incredibly low.

Works great. Reasonable cost. No drowsiness or other side effects. Useful year round.

I have used these allergy tabs (Generic for Claritin) for years. As a matter of fact they are the only thing that works for me here in Central Virginia. And I've tried everything from allergy shots to many other every day allergy meds such as Tavist, Allegra, etc. Here on Amazon they're even cheaper than Costco! Like I said they are good for everyday environmental allergies, but they are not good for an Acute Allergy Attack! Even though I take them every day when I've had an acute allergic reaction they did nothing to stop it from putting me in the Emergency Room. So Benadryl only works for me to stop an acute allergic reaction. Also do not exceed more than 1 tab of these in 24 hours as it could affect your heart negatively. Like I've said I use them daily without any negative affect. I will continue to take these because I know how I would suffer if I stopped taking this med every day!

A whole year's supply, but when I got it, it would expire in 7 months. Luckily (?) there's multiple allergy sufferers at my house so that's not a problem. Enjoying the large quantity to avoid extra trips to the store just for this.Other than that, great deal, works great, tiny pills - no real complaints. Will totally order again when this bottle runs out in a few months.

If you're looking for Loratadine (Claritin), this is the stuff! Exactly the same as Claritin, but I had been purchasing the Rite-Aid version because it's cheaper than brand-name and a Rite-Aid is just down the street from where I live. However, the Kirkland Signature brand beats even the Rite-Aid generic hands-down. The Rite-Aid was something along the lines of $20 for a 60-count package, sometimes on sale for $14.99 + buy 2 get third free. Do the math yourself: even on sale, approx. $30 for 180 tablets vs. approx. $10 for 365 tablets. Loratadine is Loratadine; Chemistry doesn't care about branding, so you get the same thing regardless of what name is on the tablet.I do not know how Kirkland does it, but I hope they do not stop. If you're looking for "Claritin," then buy this. This allergy season has been inordinately brutal for me, and I'm happy to have found the Kirkland stash.

For years I've been soaked over at Walgreens, paying top dollar for 30 pill count of generic Wal-itin just for the privilege of breathing easy due to my horrible allergies. Easily, $15 or more. I decided there had to be a better way, and I've always been a big believer in buying bulk to save on cost as well as travel expenses. I thought maybe this was a mirage -- surely you can be serious, a year's worth of allergy pills for less than $10? Oh, cynical me! Turns out, sometimes what glitters is really gold! For the past three days I've been getting through peak allergies on these pills and I've noticed no different from the usual more expensive Wal-itin. No tricks in this bottle -- an amazing deal at this price and worth every penny. Will buy again.
