Good for getting hot things out of oven

Recently purchased the Acmind heat resistant bbq gloves and am quite impressed with them. No heat whatsoever from the chimney starter and even though it wasn't necessary I went ahead and tried moving my grates around. Again, no heat at all. The extra length of the gloves provides good wrist protection when moving food around. I have large hands and the gloves are just a little snug. However, I expect that to change after the gloves get broke in a bit. Also, despite the snug fit, finger flexibility was very good. Great gloves overall. If you are looking for protection and a good price I would recommend you try these gloves.

These are incredible. You can pick up coals and actually crush them in your hand. Now, if you touch and flop food they can get dirty quick. I found that to clean them I just get a hot coal and crush it with my hands. If you don’t need them for food I give a 5 out of 5

He was skeptical but took em to work next day. I got this video an hr later (that steel plate he's turning gets HOT and the sparks burn a million holes on his usual thick leather gloves). They fit just fine on his extra large hands & compared to the heavy leather welding gloves they use these are far lighter, cooler & pliable. Now everyone wants a pair. Who woulda thunk it? They are extremely effective at controlling the heat and have been useful many times since I first got them a couple months ago. They won't protect you indefinitely, but they are clearly better than normal hotpads and much easier to use than silicone hotpads. My only complaint is that they are tight. I don't have huge hands (usually a men's medium for snow and work gloves) but these are tight enough that they are a little awkward to put on. Once on they are usable and not uncomfortable, but getting them on sometimes even requires my wife's help. Also, be careful with them after use as The material on the outside can stay hot for 15 to 20 seconds sometimes.

Well I was going to give 5 stars, but I got burned on my right index finger. I received my glove today in the mail and was very excited to try them out in my backyard firepit. I bought a second one for my brother for a stocking stuffer gift for Christmas. It work pretty well for about 4 hours. I had a fire going today and decided to try them out to see how well they did in arranging hot fire logs with them on like they advertise. It did pretty well for the most part of the night. But the glove might have started failing after moving a couple hot logs towards the middle to burn and a hot stinging sensation on my finger! Ouch..! Wasn't expecting that! Glove overall is good, but can be better. Not good for fire pit. Maybe kitchen use or hot BBQ grill use. But definitely not for hot coal or fire logs! They get hot fast! It's ok for the price. I like them, but they could be a lot better!!

Ok, so we are heat glove fanatics! These are amazing. I like that they are longer because I always burn my arm getting things out of the oven with the shorter ones. I will never go back to regular oven mitts or even the silicone ones. This outranks them all. Plus we had a little fun in the kitchen! They are amazing for the bbq but we also use them in the kitchen. For the stove and oven use!

These were great gloves that lasted me three years. I used them probably three times a week on the Blackstone and was able to touch hot food and tools with this glove!.

Using it to remove cast iron from oven at 280 degrees C, getting hot very quickly, quicker than mentioned in the description. Otherwise for lower temperatures ok
