Car Top Carrier 20 Cubic Feet Waterproof Roof Top Cargo Bag Fit for the Outdoor Elements

I used this with my Jeep and it holds my all camping stuff. It was PERFECT! We had no rain for the entire trip so I can’t speak to the rainproof quality. But it keeps my items dry.

I was very happy with this purchase. We traveled over 20 hours each way to Disney and needed a cheap cargo bag so we had room for everyone in our van. The bag was very easy to setup, but I suggest having a step-stool to zip and lock the bag. We were able to fit 3 large travel bags, a large handbag, and several smaller bags which saved lots of cargo room for our passengers. We buckled the straps tight and were pleasantly surprised not to hear much turbulence above. I would suggest packing your larger items in the back to reduce drag. Although it felt like the bag added a bit of drag, we didn't notice our gas mileage going up much on the long trip.One of our concerns when purchasing this item was the water proof rating. Severally reviews indicated they had water enter the bag. On our way home, it poured for hours and not a drop entered the bag. Be sure to fold down the plastic liner and Velcro each section. As long as your bag isn't damaged and is setup properly you shouldn't have to worry about water entering your bag. I like to play it safe, so I line my travel bags with plastic liners just in case. This is a Great cargo bag with lots of room! Drove 1,700 miles in 15 degree (farenheit) weather. Drove through rain, sleet and snow during this trip and everything was dry when I unloaded it...cold, but dry. LOL. This bag also comes with a storage bag that makes it easy to put away when not in use. The only reason of 4 stars is because there is a spot in the zipper teath the i have a concern that may start to pull apart. I have not contacted the seller to see if there is anything that may be done about it, yet, either, but will update when I find out.

I recently moved across the country and had a lot of my things in this bag on top of my car, including a giant soft sided suitcase. I encountered snow & heavy rains and the bag remained on my car for 9 days. When I unloaded it at the end of my move, the moving blanket (used to protect the surface of my car) was soaked, but everything inside the bag was completely dry! It is also very roomy. I definitely recommend this.

The bag is actually nicer than described. It is more like a heavy duty canvass outside and It does everything the way they said it would. There are no instructions that show the proper way to set it up, but the pictures of the bag show enough that you can figure it out. I would have given this 5 stars if it had come with a non-slip mat for the roof, but well made.

Like the size, but definitely not waterproof. Suitcases were soaked. :-(

It was perfect. It met out need and kept our luggage dry even when it was damp outside. Very much worth the price! We wholeheartedly recommend this item.

Due to rain, on the first use of this product, all of our gear touching the bottom on the inside of the 20 cubic foot roof cargo bag got wet and there was a PUDDLE OF WATER we poured out of the bag after we unloaded it. This was despite the velcro and zippers being properly closed. Fortunately, most of it was clothes, but one book was destroyed, so I'm asking for a new copy of the book from them. We'll see how they respond to it. Glad some have found this item useful; wish we were among them.
