The brakes in my car used to make noise specially when it was not driven for a couple days, it was annoying so I just removed both the front wheels and sprayed on the brake pad and disc . I have not heard any noise so far so I believe that the pads are clean and the spray did the job well.

This disk brake cleaner is very effective. I went for bike wash last week and the washer ended up putting diesel in the disc plate and disc pads. The braking went horrible that I didn't cross 40kmph in my r15. Haha. Okay, I searched youtube and internet how to clean oil in disc pads and got to know the disc brake cleaner is the right stuff to buy. I searched amazon for disc brake cleaner. STP Heavy Duty Brake Cleaner was shown in the top and it was amazon's choice. I bought, amazon delivered in 2days at Bengaluru. Today I removed the disc pads and cleaned the disc pads and disc plates (both wheels). Just for quick info. It evaporates quickly. So when you remove tha pads and put spray on it, you need to see whether the dirts or oily stuff getting dissolved in the liquid and drops in ground, then you have clean the pads with a cotton rag to further clean the greasy items stuck like strong gum. Then, I reinstalled the pads and checked for any leakage or misalignment, have ridden few rounds around the apartment, washed the bike and threw some strong water jet into the pads. Now, it is working just perfectly. It will last 3times cleaning for motorcycles I guess. And ₹450 is somewhat justified.

The rear brake pad of my SUV was rubbing against the this rotor and the wheel was becoming very hot probably due to debris and brake pad dust, but after using this product the problem has been solved and the wheel is running normally and is at normal temperature I will recommend this product for cleaning of brake pads once a year but the quantity is only enough for 1 car and the product is a bit expensive apart from that this is a very good product and you can blindly buy it

Does the job. Cleans the brake parts well. Use water before using this to save it for long duration.

I accidentally used chain lube in my disc brake and the brakes didnt work but after applying this disc cleaner it acts as a degreaser and cleans the disc from all the dirt oil and lube.

I bought this product to solve my rear brake noise. It was mentioned as it can be used without dismantle the calibre or break. So applied the degreaser as mentioned in the instructions but I was facing the same issue. So I gave my bike to the service centre and they solved my problem by dismantle the brake and degreased and cleaned. So I suggest, if anyone is planning to buy this product to resolve your noisy brakes THINK TWICE before you order since you may face the same issue again. I think this can be used in a regular interval to avoid any further noise issues in the future, I hope it may help me in that case atleast. If you are a frequent travller Then you can definitely buy this product and you can apply it before and after your long travel.

Absolutely a must if you a DIY Repair guy! I have used this several times while doing brake jobs on the cars, This can be used on Discs and drums. The main purpose of this spray is to clean the surface area of all dirt, brake dust and greases, keep your brakes clean and ready for service. This doesnt help much to reduce noise or improve braking in anyway. IF you use this product on the caliper pins, make sure you re grease them before use as this does remove all greases.

Does as it says. Also good for starting engines !
