Waterman Expert Black, Fountain Pen with Medium NIB and Blue Ink (S0951760)

The pen arrived alright but the plunger started leaking just after a month of use. After that the seller, Asquare Enterprise, is not cooperating to get it replaced since the pen has 3 years warranty. Instead they told me to talk to Luxor India directly. Nor the people at Luxor are responding to my calls and email requests to get it replaced. So, if the pen works fine, good, but if it malfunctions, you are on your own and your money is gone to waste.

Bought this pen with much expectation. The ink flow is very poor and inconsistent, my Rs 250 Parker pen does a much better job. The nib of the pen is quite long, so I end up holding the pen close to where the nib starts, where there is a projection in the plastic part, holding it there and writing for long has turned out to be painful, taking out the ‘joy’ of writing - this one might be a personal issue. Still u need to know it before buying it. I guess buying an ink pen online is going to be an issue

Es una pluma preciosa. Hace años que colecciono plumas y las waterman me parecen una muy buena opción. Tiene buen precio y una estética perfecta.

Mon modèle est beau (coloris taupe, très "marron glacé". Il carbure à l'encre Herbin Cacao du Brésil). Le stylo est agréable en main (léger mais très équilibré), son débit d'encre est très fluide et régulier, sa plume M est souple, la glisse est donc au rendez-vous. Son prix de 55 euros semble être un bon rapport qualité prix pour ce modèle Expert. Je recommande.

This is my first fountain pen for many years. I had been looking at various pens and at the last minute had seen this pen 'in the flesh' in a department store and fell in love with the look of it. Originally out of stock I requested notification when back in and was delighted when Amazon contacted me a week later to say it would be delivered at the end of the month. It got better as it arrived shortly before the end of January and I am delighted with it. So far I have only used the cartridge that was supplied with it but have since ordered both Waterman green and purple ink (chose both as I couldn't make up my mind). Haven't used the bottle ink yet but so far the pen is lovely to use, ink flows well but not too much and it's light to hold. It's also made me aware of my handwriting - no point having a lovely pen and not paying attention to the long lost art of handwriting!! Highly recommended.

The fountain pen is built with quality material and it looks distinguished and refined. I own several pen and this Waterman is my 1st from this brand. I'm quite pleased so far by both the look and the writing. Ink flows steadily and the postable cap is a must. The pen is a bit lighter than average but it doesn't impact the hold or the writing. I don't own many lacquer fountain pens so it was a concern before purchase. So was the stainless steel nib. However, it seems Waterman live up to their reputation and I sure enjoy my acquisition.
