This product seems okay at first, for a few months. Then it began getting incredible hot. Then it began to make noises. Now, it gets painfully hot, makes noises, and sparks when it's just plugged in doing nothing but charging. DO NOT BUY!!! I tried to save money, and now I have to buy a real Apple product because this one is a huge fire risk. It is sending arcs because it's not wired properly and just an electrical fire waiting to happen. It caused my Macbook Pro to over heat.. evrything about this product aside from the rubber casing, is bad. Buyer Beware!

I've had to replace this part on my Macbook Pro twice now. On my original charger the rubber tore and wires started fraying. The second one the charging port melted from too much heat. We'll see how long this one lasts.

It was a good deal but then price isn't everything right? The product was a little plastic but that is to be expected for the price. However now I am struggling to get it to charge the computer and have to jiggle the port continuously to get it to work and charge. Sometimes it does not work at all. So be warned - good price but doesn't seem to last.

I used this item for just after two months and now it doesn’t charge properly as it should. The charger won’t charge at all but left plugged in for more then 15 minutes then it may start the charge what cycle.

Only worked for 10 weeks. Worked great first month. Second month started getting extremely hot and shocking. Now it doesnt work at all.

Unfortunately, the charger fell apart 2-3 weeks past the return window. Literally fell apart. The two metal plugs that are inserted into the wall outlet came disconnected from the charging “brick”.

My laptop is almost 10 yrs old, so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a charger. I bought this, and legit- the first time I plugged it into my computer it broke! The metal plug stayed in my computer, detaching from its housing on the cord. I had to use tweezers to pull the metal piece out. Returning STAT. Don't waste your time.

Product appears to be a valid replacement for a macbook adapter, but quality is suspect. Bought 2 in Sept 2018 and 1 failed (12/18) already under normal use. Return window has closed, so we are out of luck and must buy again.
