Packaging is good, shipping was on time. I hope I'm not being premature with 5 star rating, but everything seems pretty ok, and since I have experience with pepper spray, I'm not about to spray it just like that, I know what it will do! But before carrying or storing in your secret safe spot, do check the nozzle to make sure it's aligned, and for goodness sake don't squirt yourself in the process! The top is good as it prevents accidental squirts, but when carrying you should try to remain alert and mindful at all times, so if you are forced to use it, less chance of fumbling.If you accidentally spray yourself, applying water isn't going to minimize the pain immediately, and this is an oily substance, too. Apply mild liquid soap directly and wash it off gently-don't scrub! (expect more pain!) Cool water might be better since warmth opens the pores. Do be prepared for more pain, though, I can't emphasize that enough. Blistering and swelling of the skin is to be expected, as this stuff is concentrated. The longer it stays on, the worse the effect. If you decide to let it wear off a bit before washing, you can expect your skin to light up like Diwali crackers all over again the moment water comes in contact. When you wake up the next day, expect soreness/raw feeling, lingering redness, even if you washed properly. Avoid applying commercial moisturizer and cosmetics for few days, since chemicals can worsen irritation- apply fresh aloe gel straight from the plant if you have one. If you have no aloe and are desperate for moisturizer, go for cold pressed coconut oil until skin is back to normal.If you get it in your eyes, go directly to hospital. It's not supposed to cause permanent eye damage, but still, eyes are very delicate and pepper spray ain't a joke.If by some horrid chance a small child gets sprayed or somehow gets the liquid on their skin, wash it gently, but still it may be best to take them directly to hospital after washing, as their skin and lungs are much more delicate and sensitive than an adult's.That said, it's good to always carry a backup weapon instead of relying only on spray. If the can malfunctions during a crisis, you're screwed if you have no backup and no fighting skills, especially if the bad guy is armed. Secondly, there have been cases of spray being ineffective on heavily intoxicated people, especially those hyped up on cocaine, PCP, and other hard substances.

Yup it works. I tested in an empty safe private space and had to leave the area for half an hour due to harshness and irritation. Would've given 5 stars if it had a simple safety lock.
