How big is the completed model?

The ad says it is 12" high with a 4" base. My perception of the finished model though is it just feels small (if that makes any sense).

How many pieces are in the set?

321 according to the box. My 14 year old grandson loves these sets and several put together in his room.

is this lego also good for kids 7 years old? hi is very mature and talent

It depends on the kid; we offer one box to each of our grand-sons aged 6 and 7 and they could assemble all the parts in two days without an adult's help. Both of them already have other LEGO Architecture (Big Ben ...) and they enjoy them very much.

Does it include a baseplate or any kind of stand?

Baseplate and brick plate are total different. Baseplate has smooth flat at bottom that can NOT build anything under baseplate. Brick plate can build either top or bottom of pieces. This set use brick plate to create "look like" baseplate. What you see photo on set box and you WILL get their pieces. By the way, I have own set and very pleasure how LEGO Design do well.
