Great telescope for kids and beginners
I bought this telescope for my 6 year old kid. This is the best value for money telescope available for beginners. I taught him to set it up, so its quite easy even for a 6 year old. And then its excellent for daytime viewing or spotting. the optics is of good quality and built is great. For astronomical use, its good enough for moon and planets. I saw Saturn with its rings the other day. The tripod is not of great quality but that'OK , you can use any other good quality camera tripod. The eyepieces are good 10mm and 20 mm providing 40X and 20X magnification. But maybe a pair of 25mm and 10mm would have been better considering the fact that a separate 3X barlow could provide 4 unique magnification.I am pretty happy with the scope and i recommend this as a beginner telescope for kids ( with interest ).

Great scope but...
I have used this telescope for more than a month now and I love it. The best thing about it is its portability. You can carry it to places with great night sky views. The optics are clear giving crisp images. Both the eyepieces perform well giving a decent field of view.So far, I have seen three star clusters (the best one being the Pleiades), Jupiter with good detail and four of its moons, Mars with decent colour but no detail (even though it was towards the horizon in a polluted sky), Orion Nebula as a grey patch, still magnificent though. I'm waiting for saturn, mercury and venus to come up.UPDATE: Seen saturn's rings and venus. Neither showed any colour.Things to note before buying:1) The telescope performs very well, the tripod equally badly. It is plastic, very light weight and shakes at even 60x with no wind. If you buy it, start looking for a better tripod. At home, I use it with an equitorial mount and a bigger tripod.2) The given eyepieces give you 20x (20 mm) and 40x (10 mm) magnification. So if you want to see planets, buy a barlow lens or high power eyepieces. Celestron barlow and eypieces each cost half the price of the telescope itself but there are cheaper Indian alternatives that will do just as well. The maximum magnification I have tried is 133x (6mm plossl and 2x barlow), I'm sure it can handle more.3)I won't recommend it as a starting telescope. Spend an extra 3-4000 on a bigger telescope with an AZ or equitorial mount. Buy this one only if you like to travel a lot.4)The finderscope is plastic but this telescope is so small and so manoeuvrable that I never use it.

Useless product.
I ordered the product for birthday of my twin kids. I thought this will help them in developing some interest other than TV. The product was delivered in time and the packaging was nice. The installation process too is easy. I tried 3-4 times in late night to observe moon and tried on stars too. To my disappointment this telescope failed to work. Even with cheap binoculars one can visualise distant objects easily but this product is really useless. I ordered for replacement hoping that new package shall work but it was same. I was not able to return the product as it is not returnable so wasted my money totally. I even tried to learn through YouTube and manual but failed to improve the results.I am planning to use this product as artefact in my drawing room ;)Will update the video review soon.

It's doesn't work as they boast. Tripod is very flimsy, keep shaking. Very tiring to use. You will shelf it in a day.

Excellent
Very good product. Good zoom and clarity. The tripod is weak and shaky. I bought a New tripod osaka vct 880. On this tripod this travel scope is giving excellent results.
