This is a combo pressure/vacuum hand pump. I personally like the rotating gauge. The tool is made of heavy duty plastic. It doesn't included a case ;(, or any adapters-which is clearly stated. If you have never used one of these, you need the read the directions. You MUST not get any brake or power steering fluid in the tool. It will no longer function. Worked great. I am changing the brake fluid on all of my bikes-2 Harleys and a Honda. I did buy an additional set of hoses, as the 2005 Harley takes DOT 5 brake fluid. I used to have the metal pump, which is more sturdy, but since I just work on my own vehicles, now, this will suffice. Sidebar note-I drop stuff all the time-thanks, RA. I put a small loop made out of a shoe string to wrap around my wrist. I don't know if this pump can handle a fall-and I don't want to find out!

Works as designed. I was bleeding the brakes on my bike and it fell off the footboard and cracked at the gauge. Ended up buying another unit to replace the broken one.

I’ve had two of these. Works well but both handles cracked off. Apparently parts are not available. Would be better if it was all metal.

Used one of these for years before the seal gave out. Bought this and works identical to the old one. Holds the vacuum or pressure perfectly.There is one difference from the old one- this one made from a composite material instead of aluminum. Other than that, I expect this to last for years in the shop.

Worked good when I first got it, used it this spring and everything functioned as expected, needed it again now late summer and would no longer pump pressure

Initially bought similar item but different brand from Autozone. It worked twice then it no longer worked. I think the piston seals failed. So I bought this Mityvac MV8255 from Amazon and it did the job. Seems to be good quality. Was using it to set vacuum diaphragm choke pull off on Jeep Carter BBD carburetor which requires 15"hg vacuum. This unit will produce both pressure and vacuum.

Easy to use for testing outboard motor gear case leaks. Unit is made of plastic which not sure how it will hold up, haven’t dropped it yet so we’ll see. Easy to switch from pressure to vacuum with the turn of a dial. No instructions but not difficult to figure out.
