It fits easily in my backpack and car door pocket, but when opened it provides great coverage and doesn’t feel flimsy. This umbrella has to be one of the best I have ever owned. It's very sturdy when open. It's solid. It doesn't even flicker in the wind. It's so strong. It opens easily. It just doesn't close easily. That's its biggest downside. But, you are likely to let it dry out before closing so at least you won't get all wet trying to do it. It's just hard to shove back into the locking position. But it's so easy to open and use and I like the interesting design of kind of folding back on itself to store. Ingenious and I love it. I hope I never lose it.

Great umbrella and great price! Very durable and easy to open. Since it collapses inward it is easier to dry after use and the slip case helps keep it compact for storage. Light weight but very sturdy.
