easy recommendation
This little tool was the superstar of a lens cleanup that I did on an old film lens (Olympus 100mm F2). I highly recommend this if you are working on lenses.

Tips are too small or too big. Still leaves marks on lens.
Slightly better than the other offering on Amazon. The suction tips are either too large or too small for my application, a medium size one would've been better. It still leaves a mark on the lens although an improvement from the other one. It still does not resolve this issue completely. Would not recommend.

Pricey But Works and Seems Well Made
It is kind of expensive for what it is, but when you're repairing camera lenses it's kind of hard to do without this tool. You could spend time making your own suction tool or just buy this one; it does work well. Mine does leave a slight residue where the suction cup contacts the lens; however, I have had no issues wiping it away with a PEC pad or Kimwipe lightly dampened with distilled water. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Best money I ever spent!
With this an a $20 spanner wrench I was able to clean a $3,000 lens that had developed in internal fog problem.
