I love trying out different types of tea. I was a bit skeptical about tea made from flower petals and had to push myself to try it. But when I did take a sip it turned out to be delightfully delicious! The Indian Chai's hibiscus tea is made from petals of the Gudhal (in hindi) or Jaswand flower. The petals give the tea a deep reddish colour and floral aroma. Hibiscus is known for it's anti-diabetes property. It helps boost immunity too. The quality of this tea is great as you can see from the big, whole petals. This tea tastes slightly sweet and sour. I've heard it makes a great cold beverage too by adding some ice to boiled and cooled tea! The best way to brew this tea is to put the petals in boiling water, turn off the stove in 2 minutes and cover it with a lid for 1 minute. DO NOT add milk, even sugar isn't needed as it has a natural sweetness. It makes a healthy beverage for fussy people who won't drink green tea or ayurvedic tea. It tastes great, has a nice colour and aroma too.

First of all the taste of this herbal tisane is good it's sour but not very sour It ll be good after two or three times you drink it and most importantly taste is subjective. Second thing if someone is suffering from mild to moderate Hypertension then trust me it's proven definitely this tisane is going to work very well if you drink it regularly for one time a day. Now thirdly and here's a twist I talked about the benefits of this tisane but it has some negative point as well .This tisane will degrade your liver and it can even worsen the condition . My suggestion ( IAM suggesting because I have tried on me for consecutive four months with this tisane) Don't drink it regularly If you want to then please drink it in very moderation in small quantity But try to drink it in alternative day ..I hope you ll definitely get something very good from this review and if your going to purchase this then do consider my review . One should buy or not: Definitely one should buy it but use it in very moderation as it is not very good for liver and it is toxic to liver if it is taken in large quantity or daily . Honestly, I was not sure about this one but the health benefits hibiscus tea has made me try it out. Its a very sour ( khatta) kind of tea..but i guess it has a large number of benifits so i guess we can ignore the taste, add honey and u r good to go... its supposed to regulate hypertension ,cholestrol etc.. planning to buy for my parents also.. very relaxing i must say and will post again once i get feedback from my parent..but all that aside..worth a buy if you want to explore infusion teas ..TIC has pretty genuine products and they are therapeutic as well..blindly buy it ..the company even sends free tea infusers if you buy more than 999 worth of products..thanks and great going TIC

A well preserved and dried hibiscus flower tea that retained its flavour and essence so when revived in hot water it released all the well preserved flavour and nutrients and tasted exactly like fresh hibiscus flowers. Excellent product.

Full of flowers. No powder which you might get from other brands. Totally satisfied and highly recommend
