This product review is for the Fire Officer Field Guide 1st Edition by InformedI purchased this field guide as a quick reference after being promoted to Lieutenant in the Fire Department. I thought it might be a little "woo-woo" of me but nonetheless, ordered it hoping it would have some good info to flip through from time to time or potentially use on a call.It came in the mail and was in mint condition, packaged very well. I immediately flipped through it and really liked the familiar good quality "waterproof, alcohol-fast and “street tough" guidebook". It is very informative and as it states it includes: "covers: Rules of Engagement National ICS Profiles Updated Fire Strategy / Tactics Improved Operations Center Guidelines Mayday and Fire Fighter Rescue Evacuation and Abandon Structure Enhanced WMD and HazMat Response Special Rescue Situations Incident Command System Updated EMS Section Water Supply and Friction Loss" At just 3.2 ounces and convenient 3"x5" size, it fits great in my bunker gear or "go bag" in the engine.Overall:Great price, size, durability and a great product.If I had to give this product a letter grade, I would easily give it an A+. Excellent condensed field guide with a vast array of topics to use as a prompt or reminder on scene or as a handy tool to use as a review & refresher to stay current and sharp

Great Product
I bought this because someone else at my station had it, his is older(and according to ebay more expensive) due to the thicker pad, but overall this product is worth the purchase.

Very good little book to have for a newer fire officer ...
Very good little book to have for a newer fire officer to have handy. Price was good and seems durable enough to not have it get destroyed from trying to carry it in your gear.

Good Information
Very informative and compact enough to fit in my bunker gear for quick reference. The only concern I have is durability over time. I would recommend to any new officer.

Well written, concise, and easy to carry around. Great reference for non-firefighters who work with the bravest. I recommend it.
