Wahl Self Cleaning Slicker Brush, Large

I had been using the Wahl brush (non flexi cleaning one) for 2 years now. Hence was pretty much certain about the product quality. The only concern there was that it was cumbersome to clean that brush. Hence when I came across this product, I grabbed it.The quality continues to be consistent. I have a golden retriever and this brush cleared up most of the stubborn knots and gave a wholesome brush to its hair. If used in conjunction with a deshedder and dematter brush, then you may just half your grooming costs.This is a recommended product for pet owners/parents having pets with thick fur.

Value for money! Quality is good too.Not recommended for labradors!

It's easy to clean, must have for all pet parents

It may not mean a lot to some people but the ergonomics of such things matter as well. I like.how the brush feels when holding it and the soft grip is nice.I used the brush as directed on the packaging and boy I was happy and surprised as to the amount of hair my dog had on him.I made more than 7 passes in total brushing 4 times against the growth and 3 times in the direction of growth and there still was hair. This is not because rh3 brush doesn't work effectively, but because my dog sheds a lot, and hadn't been brushed in a LONG time.Getting rid of the hair is as easy as brushing the dog, with the help of the quick release button provided. If your dog is particularly dirty, like mine was, the dust tends to get stuck on the brush but can easily be wiped with a cloth or tissue.It must be noted that the bristles are thinner than what may appear, but I think it is a good thing as it helps in going deeper into the fur and gathering loose hair.I am extremely happy with the purchase and would 10/10 recommend.

expensive compared to other slicker brush (in Amazon) so I thought it will be nice but I don’t recommend anyone to buy .

The pins in the slicker are too Sharp that my dog is not at all comfortable to be combed,he loves to be combed but his skin is pricked and he doesn't like combed with this product at all.This can also scratch you pet's skin. I am not defaming the product but its true that its not good to use. Also when i tried to replace amazon has no return policy that results in wastage of Rs 700 anyway. So please don't buy.

I bought this brush last month. Waited for a few uses to give feedback so that it’s based on actual use.Pros:a. My goldie loves the brushing with this brush.b. Extra large for a large dog. So larger area covered.c. Firm gripped handle. It’s sturdy to useCons:a. Self cleaning is a myth. On the contrary, the lower level of the brush collects so much dander that it’s impossible to clean. And the top layer has these rows through which the pins can retract. That also collects dander. It’s impossible to clean.b. Because of the delicate nature of the pins, even if one gets out of shape, it will eventually get crushed when you try to clean the brush with the self clean mechanism.All in all, I’d say, save money and go for the regular brush. I wasted money on this one.
