Goldfish Medium Floating Pellet Food - 5 oz, Browns

This product is for some reason not available in our local stores. It has the usual Wardley quality. The seller was prompt in getting it to me, and it arrived in great condition. I'll be ordering again, though my 2 fantails will take a while to get through the container!

Best goldfish food I have found. Love the floating aspect of it, it makes it easier to make sure all food is eaten. Sinking pellets don’t always get found and eaten, which in return will cause ammonia to rise. My fish also seem to poop smaller and not as much with this food. Which is good to keep the tank clean. Highly recommend!

These are 3mm floating Goldfish pellets. Slow sinking pellets would be more preferable in order to help avoid some of the buoyancy problems associated with Fancy Goldfish. The pellets seem to have more plant based ingredients than my other pellet brands, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Also, a lower protein content as listed on the container is a definite plus for the Goldfish eating it. One thing to note is that these pellets do contain copper which might be detrimental to any snails or invertebrates consuming it.My five egg-shaped Goldfish love these and the pellets will be added to the food feeding rotation.

My isopods love this Goldfish food. Especially my Porcellio Laevis "Dairy Cow"

I thought that using the pellets would satisfy my fish better than using the flakes because the flakes break up into small crumbles. However, I found that feeding the fish just pellets caused much more excretion in the fish tank and I had to clean the whole thing out very frequently. Now I have gone back to feeding goldfish flakes.

Very unhappy that this product will no longer be available since Hartz Mountain has informed me that it was discontinuing it small pets food products.
