High Quality Lures that Work Well in Colder Lakes
The Bandit 100, 200, and 300 series lures have a tight wobble that attracts strikes from large mouth bass in lakes when the temperature ranges from the low 40s to the low 50s, provided only that you crank them very slowly. I use a 5.4:1 gear ratio bait casting reel to facilitate this slower rate of retrieve. The lures feature high quality hardware, including strong split rings and hooks that are very sharp. They are very buoyant so they will float clear of underwater obstacles if you simply pause the retrieve momentarily when you bump into them. Because they float, I often pause a for a brief time before beginning the retrieve since they sometimes provoke top water strikes in shallow water near the shore line. They are available in a wide range of colors so they are adaptable to fishing in areas with various types of forage and in water that is either fairly clear or even stained. I typically use them in a lake where bass feed primarily on bluegills and the water visibility is typically in the 1 to 2 foot range, where I have found the pearl - black back color works very well.

Black crappie go nuts for this
We are catching black crappie constantly with this lure. We also caught spotted bass, but 4 of 5 are huge crappie. Whoever gets to use this one will outfish everyone else. Fortunately I haven’t lost it in a snag yet.

My favorite lure for clear water smallmouth
This lure kills it while trolling the 8-16 foot ledges on clear water up north lakes. Plenty of smallmouth and rockbass in the boat. I use perch and crawfish colors. Even caught a walleye trolling behind the paddleboard. The 300 definitely hits the 12-13 ft mark. Cast great too.

Perfect Bait
This crank is the best for crappie if you're wanting 8-12ft, sharp hooks and durable bait
