One of the best so Far, for reasons as below, Consider it as an investment to your learning and try it..
To All Flutist, Most of us are already aware of quality and the name associated with Puman Flutes, but I will provide reasons why i requested for one of these. Apology in advance for long review, as I tried to be descriptive for those who are in dilemma of whether or not to get Punam Flutes E Natural Base Indian Bansuri Size 30 Inches it. I assume all of the advanced level players must have used this flute at least once and they know it's worth every penny. Material: 1. Finish: You feel the difference with the first touch, the bamboo used is one of the finest quality, that I have used so far. 2. Balanced Weight: Perfectly balanced, The weight is moderate to have the melody intact and at the same time, it's not too heavy. 3. Customization: The flute is can be customized, I requested for left-handed flute and got it Tune and Melody: 1. I have not tried flutes from all the makers, but this one is the best so far. 2 I wanted to have my ear training on the perfect pitch on every note, hence invested in Punam flute, and I got what I wanted. 3. Best part, The hardest note on a bass flute from blowing perspective (All close PA for me) just got much easier. I struggled a lot with while I started learning about the quality of sound from this note. Customer Service : 1. The team is famous for their excellent customer service. 2. Fast delivery and prompt response. 3. They call you to understand what flutes suits you Left hand or Right hand etc. I understand that cost may be a concern and it was for me too, but considering it as an investment to the finest in quality tool in learning the best way, it's worth every penny. If you follow many famous flutists of India, they will refer to this name in one or the other place. As per an important advice I got, It's always good to start with perfectly tuned and melodious flute. Tune will train your ear perfectly and melody will make your learning enjoyable. Bonus: They will give you a case to keep the flute which times hard/costly or tedious to get or make. Thanks

Finest in every aspect...
The flute is the of the highest standard in every respect, be it the bamboo quality, or the sound---I don't remember holding another flute which gave me the same level of satisfaction and pleasure. The bamboo had an extremely fine polish and I loved it from its first touch. It was so good that at first I was misled to think that it was plastic! The truth was, it was just the finest quality bamboo. Here's an important piece of information for flute amateurs: do not get upset if there are superficial marks on the bamboo, it is a sign of maturity (as explained to me by Mr. Subhash Thakur himself!). It means that the bamboo is more robust to the extremities of climates, which is a good thing. Next, the sound. It had a deep, clear, and soul-touching sound, making the flute worthy of the price you pay. The lowest and and the highest notes were equally clean and there wasn't any hissing sound. Overall, since it is a bass flute, it would take some amount of practicing to get the sweet spot! Practicing long notes is highly recommended and will certainly give you a meditative experience. Lastly, the flute maker, Mr. Subhash Thakur, is a very responsive and considerate human being. I had some issues with the flute (which wasn't because of a fault on the maker's part, or with the flute), but Mr. Thakur promised to sort it out and kept his word. For that I am ever grateful to him. The reason I am mentioning this is so that you know that you are buying something that is genuine. Hence, judging by the quality and standard, I strongly recommend Poonam flutes.

Its very good, the sound quality and tuning is best. But not customised. Beginners buy A base or G #.

The tonal quality of the flute I have is very good, good bamboo quality
I placed the order for the e bass and receive the package within 8 days,it was very well packaged to ensure the safety of the bansuri. However ,the placement of blowing hole and pitching wasn't what I was used to so asked for replacement according to my playing style and preference. The tonal quality of the flute I have is very good, good bamboo quality, well seasoned! Could've been a bit more polished but that doesn't matter. Expensive but worth it ! It is a Well Tuned Flute ! Has a great sound quality
The flute is well tuned and has a great sound quality. Then why not 5 stars ? Actually this deduction is for the visuals. I expected a shiny lustrous Punam flute. But the bamboo had quite a few scratches and marks (all are natural I suppose). One of the marks is quite large and I doubted it to be as a crack ..but its thankfully not so. Also, the flute is little curved at the lower half. BUT having said all that the flute is well tuned and it is something that matters the most ! Hence I am satisfied with this purchase :).
