I bought this brushless impact driver to add with my other porter 20v impact(brush) so myself and father can start building his barn.In just a few days i have driven 0ver 400 2 -3/4 galvanized screws for my fencing project. compared to the brush model this sucker is obviously smaller and lighter. not only is it a dream to handle,the batteries last longer for sure. this was a good buy for sure cause i am one of those individuals that need a drill that is a higher quality drill than say a harbor freight brand, but not a high end pro series drill from a millwaukee or makia. Porter cable is a good "middle of the road' quality that should do the trick for years to come for what i would consider i would consider heavy home owner use. My next set of drills no doubt will be "brushless" as they are the real deal. Will my next set be a Porter Cable?...something tells me they are going to stop producing cordless products due to excessive competion and being owned by stanley black & decker...whom own Craftsman,dewalt etc...either way i do not plan on wasting money on a dewalt or millwaukee due to the big money and serious overkill!this impact will last a long time for sure...even with weekly use or daily?. it has all the features one would need and more than enough power.I did drive six 4.5" screws with ease into some 4x4 treated post. I just cant stress how happy i am with this impact...and my other brush impact,however it is a little taller and wider. either way Porter cable makes a fantastic cordless lineup...i have all of the 20v tools and use all of them on a regular basis. go buy some after market 4-5 amp batteries and you could literally run a drill or circular saw all day long. I just hate to here the rumors and obvious lack of space at Lowes that Porter Cable is fading away, and most likely going to be the next to be extinct.

Bought this to replace a porter cable impact driver, whose Chuck just won’t hold the bed anymore. So annoying but sticking with the same battery system, bought this replacement, and I appreciate getting the additional battery and charger with an improved impact driver for a good value set. Has performed very well in a number of jobs and this model seems to go easier on the battery as well. Happy with it.

I have always been a porter cable fan. Over the years they have convinced me they are the best in the field, especially for impact drivers. This model the VPCCK647LB is new to me but has various features I am pleased with. First off it is slightly shorter, making getting tight spaces easier. second, it is not as tall, further increasing maneuverability. The quick-change chuck is standard but always welcomed, allowing easy one-handed removal of the bit. The trigger is sensitive, allowing for more precise control of the speed (or if bored making up a lovely tune with the different pitch of the motor)The color is very aesthetic, much nicer than "other" more yellowish products. (yellow, eww) The weight is solid, but not heavy, expressing its quality.Finally, a feature I did not buy it for but appreciate greatly is the placing of the light. Other models and brands place the light right under the bit. Which is ok, but many times I find it gets covered to my annoyance when doing a job. The light on this model is at the bottom of the pistol grip pointing up. As hard as I tried, I could not find a position that blocked the light. This is a really great feature. However, be warned. This little guy is powerful. If you don't have a good grip and don't respect it when using it, it can "jump" easily off of whatever you are trying to tighter or screw in. The battery life is standard, but charges quickly. It also comes with an ambidextrous belt clip that works just as well on your everyday belt or just your pants for quick jobs around the house as well as it does on a tool belt for all day work. It also has such a satisfying sound when activated, especially when used to scare the crap out of an annoying cat. All in all, I would certainly recommend this impact driver, for anyone, young to old, hobbyist or blue-collar worker. It will get the job done, and you will enjoy using it to do so.

Es un excelente atornillador de impacto la verdad que hace su trabajo bien aun que tengas que ejercer algo de presión en algunas ocasiones para que el tornillo no se barra y entre bien fura de hay funciona bien y le dura mucho la batería
