These are made of heavy paper. We used these for our cupcake wars themed girl scout function. Each girl got a paper hat at the start of it to make them feel like professional bakers. They did the job and didn't break our budget

Bought for Halloween costume for my kid. It worked great. The adjustable stickers where ok but I added clear box tape for more security. One hat from the pack lasted for 2 nights of him running around. Getting knocked off his head several times.

Emphasis on disposable
Tried to make this work for a costume and it was difficult. Ended up not staying together and I ditched it for the night. With some extra tape it can work, and many extras it comes with is convenient.
