the product arrived with one of the filters missing. At full speed it sounds like the engine of a jet place (while in the video they refer to it as "whisper quiet" technology). Cromptons website is unhelpful, full or mistakes, not updated and gives misinformation (i call a service line, they say it's a complaints line. I call the local center , they say i have to call crompton directly, who tells me that I have to call a service center). Crompton's call center should be showered with awards for unhelpfulness. I can't register an online complaint or a telephone one, because they don't even have the product listed in their database. Classic case of rush a product to market without giving a hooey about the customer experience.

The hepa filters are not available as spares

I am an asthmatic and have been struggling for several years with things affecting my breathing when I'm trying to sleep. I had long thought that perhaps I should try something like this product out, but I was worried to spend out the money without having an idea if it actually would be of help to me. Now that I have tried this air purifier I can only say that I wish I had used it years ago.If I run this for a little while before I go to bed, and during the night, then I wake up feeling as though I can actually breathe properly. This is just so refreshing for me after years of not being able to suss out what was triggering my asthma in my bedroom. (I have tried anti-allergy bedding, and cleaning it to within an inch of its existence, taking antihistamines, etc). The very first night I used it I woke up feeling amazing.The air purifier has four settings, which are for different requirements. Setting 4 is the most effective, and also bit loud. Then it goes down in levels 3 and 2, before reaching 1 which is allegedly the most suitable for leaving running at night. My only quibble is that on high setting I find the little noise irritating. I haven't removed a point for this, however, for two reasons. Firstly, my wife hasn't really been bothered by it which would indicate that maybe I'm more sensitive to these things. Secondly, I feel the benefits do actually outweigh the noise factor.If you leave the purifier on auto setting, it will go up and down levels depending on the current air quality. You can instantly tell that the purifier has been on when you walk into the bedroom. It just feels so much fresher.When the UltraHEPA filter needs changing a light will appear, apparently, and this is approximately an annual change. A light will also tell you when it is time to change the GasTrap filter.I can't find a lot to criticise about this product. It does what I hoped it would do, which is made it easier for me to sleep without struggling to breathe. Anything else would be merely being picky.Overall, I highly recommend this product.

I have just begun using it for last two nights and it seems effective. I will need to see how it performs on extended use over a period of time to validate the product. But as of now I am happy
