Little Friends Little Friends Fluffy Lined Hammock with Pouch, Purple Velvet Purple(Purple Velvet)

Got this for my ratties, works great they love it, however they chewed through it immediately. I ended up cutting off the straps and hinges and folded an old bathmat in half while sewing the straps to it. It worked great, so I do recommend this product to adult critters, otherwise get ready to not have one in about 4 weeks.

My rattie girls love, love these, they have had a couple of different designs (always little friends) but this one has proved to be the best (and the design they have yet to chew up). It's so, so very soft, they always have one in their cage while the other one gets washed. I clip it together and in the washing machine it goes, washes up really well. My three girls all pile in together, sometimes inside or on top. It's adorable seeing them all piled on or in together, more so when inside and you see a little nose or two poking out The first couple they had they did chew the top cover apart, but I expected that to happen (especially with one of my girls). Every rattie cage should have one.

It’s really a nice hammock, until they bite through one of the layers and you can’t get them out!My rats seem to enjoy this none the less and it’s given them confidence to sleep out in the open! The straps for the clips are really long so I’ve had to improvise for it to fit the cage. That’s the only thing I’d say needed improvement.

please please please DONT GET THIS FOR YOUR RATS!!!!!! For one it gets chewed up easily and also because of all the stringy bits made from my rats pulling it apart one of my babies got their leg trapped from the string which cut off circulation to his whole leg, when i found him his leg swelled up so bad it was deep red and bruised but could have easily been broken he struggled more.

When chewed the fabric becomes a lethal web of fibers that is easy to trap bits of animals. My degu's leg got caught in it and broken. Took 20 minutes of careful work to free her, her toes are shredded and leg is facing the wrong way.
