I have been wearing this support hose for a long time. It gives me the support I need for my legs everyday. It is cost effective. I recommend these for walking everyday.

I started crossdressing during the pandemic when I was working from home. I think I was bored wearing the same thing every day, and one day I saw one of my girlfriend's stretchy dresses on top of a box headed for Goodwill so I put it on and went downstairs. When she saw me wearing it she laughed, and got me a pair of her older underwear too. Her bras & shoes were too small, and she doesn't wear stockings, so I had to get those myself. These Hanes Alive are the best, they make my legs feel great and I found it's kind of fun wearing a dress, bra & panties, stockings, and high heels while working so I kept doing it. I still work from home most days, but my girlfriend is back at work (outside the home). Sometimes she'll call me on her way home and tell me "the boss" is on the way and will need her secretary to service her needs when she arrives. And I am more than happy to oblige 🙂.

As a healthcare professional I am on my feet all day & frequently standing. The higher spandex in the legs of Hanes Alive works great as a mild type of full leg compression stocking. It’s not graduated compression as it runs the same amount of spandex the full length of the leg, but it sure works to help with swelling & muscle fatigue on those 12 hour shifts. I can definitely tell a difference if I do not wear them to work even on 8 hour shifts. The higher spandex content makes them thicker and thus prevents a true “sheer” effect but by no means do they look like old lady compression hose and they are certainly less opaque than a pair of tights. They are fairly easy to get on- I put them on just like regular panty hose, just need a tad more effort pulling them upward thanks to the spandex. Measuring in at 5’4”, I am not tall, but my 135 pounds runs more to my hips/thighs so I wear a size C. I’ve worn the B but notice they tend to creep down as the day goes on and I have less of an issue with this in the larger size. No extra baggage in the lower leg with the larger size either. I wash in separate laundry bag with my other regular laundry and hang them to dry. Never had an issue with runs or holes doing this. I’ve worn these hose (not the same pair) for at least the last 15 years and they last for quite some time. I replace them as the spandex compression factor wears out, usually get half a dozen pairs and replace every 6 months working full time. Much cheaper than medical support hose and I can usually still wear them to church as they are still in good shape just have lost a little compression in the legs. If you are looking for a true thin sheer pair of hose, these are not for you. They have a good range of colors to choose from to match different flesh tones plus navy & black. I wholeheartedly endorse Hanes Alive if you are looking for something a bit “more” in your pantyhose. I’ve worn control top and regular, sheer & reinforced toe. I’ve had no real issues with any of them but tend lean toward control top (to keep the compression factor support going) and reinforced toe since I wear them with socks & regular shoes much of the time and walk a lot. Hope this review helps folks make the right choice and that if they do buy them, they work as well for them as they do me.

I never get support control because they usually are really tight so never used them. Will try them but if they don’t feel comfortable we’ll have to give them away.

Went by the size chart, I am 5.7 139 pounds, have very long and thin legs and on me, the hose were TOO tall therefor as I walked they would slip down and bunch up/crease behind my knees :-(I am a Flight Attendant and during the entire 10 hour flight I had to constantly pull them up because the crease behind my knee was SO uncomfortable but then they were bunched up at my upper thigh which creased and was uncomfortable also..... I dont know if its because my legs are thin? however the size chart should mention that if thats what it is.All that said, if they had fit properly, I liked the feel and the sheerness.

I do not have any dislikes. I only love these pantyhose. They add comfort, softness, make sense and match fancy dresses. Halloween dresses too. But not summer dresses. I prefer these in a cool black color like a black cat. If I'm gonna wear pantyhose. These are my choice girl friend. They are the best I have ever seen and worn sister.

I love the look and the feel of these pantyhose. However, they are very "tight" with not much stretch. I supposed that's how they maintain the full support and control top. I had previously ordered size B which, according to the chart, is what I should wear. However, not too long after receiving them, I ended up puncturing a hole in them because they were so tight. So this time, I ordered a size C. There is not much difference in the two sizes. I still need to be careful when stretching them on - they need to be "stretched" on; otherwise, they won't reach up high enough. I am 5'5" and weigh 110 pounds, so I am thin and this is therefore not an issue because of my body size. Otherwise, I really love these pantyhose - the look, the feel, the comfort, the control. I just wish that because of the tightness of the weave, they were made larger so I didn't have to stretch them so much, which is what causes me poking holes in them :/

Would not hesitate to order these again.

I bought these in "barely black" for an event. I got the largest size because I cant stand things digging in. I am 5"8 210 lbs and they fit perfectly. HOWEVER. Barely black is actually grey/brown and they got a run within 2 hours of my event. A very very large run, so in to the trash they went. Maybe someone who doesn't move, have a purse or fingernails would have bette luck.

The packaging was opened already and had a date of 2016. Were these sitting in a warehouse for years? I am roughly 5'4" and curvier, so I chose the size F which is the largest, and I could barely get them over my thighs. The back of the tights instantly made a run. Do not buy this brand, I prefer Hue tights over any on amazon at this point.

These tights didn't run which is a first in my experience, however the 'barely there' colour was dark and rather solid. The control top fit a bit tighter than expected and had a tendency to roll down because of this. However they didn't run after a day in a wedding party so thats pretty impressive.

Bought as an alternative to my usual brand. These fit well, are very sheer, but don’t stay up.
