Great Book!!
All over it's a great book. Great and real story of Kate Bowler. I gave this book 4stars for the reason that the details are too intricate and only a Christian can understand it properly. I'm a Hindu and It took me a little time to understand a different culture. But it was great experience for me. The appendix at the end which states what to do when someone is going through tragic times is my favourite part. Well done!

Non Fiction- Memoir
This is a memoir about Kate's diagnosis of Stage IV cancer. And her navigation through her faith. Facing the illness head on, questioning the fairness of life, as well as delving into the prosperity gospel - a belief that God rewards faith with good life, was the book's signification. I found the book to be more of religious and less about her struggle with the banal yet upheavaled life after her diagnosis, though there were scattered pieces of heartbreak and hilarity throughout the novel.

Life isn't prosperity gospel
A wonderful title that aches from a dying heart. The author shares her true cancer story. The words are poetic and experiences real. I wish the book wouldn't stop abruptly. Wish to know more about the life. But then, may be life isn't prosperity gospel. There are no truths.

Those who have either suffered from a life threatening illness may relate to this book
This books is not for everyone. Picked it up since it was one of the books recommended by Bill Gates, a person i admire for his philanthropy. The book was much below my expectations.i think there is a possibility that people who have suffered from a life threatening illness or have had a loved one suffering from one may be able to empathize with this book.
