Wonderful....Much More Than a Pruning Saw.
Firstly the image in product description is not what is the actual product but of a smaller model of the same company, I had researched the same on the company's website so knew that in advance....Here is my review....SHIPPING: received the product promptly within the specified time.Was packed properly .About the Saw:So I have already purchased a couple of such folding saws , ranging from Brands such as Big Boy, SOG, etc.So when I saw the listing for a 330 mm Pruning Saw ,By an Indian Company, I was amazed.Internal Packaging : The saw comes folded in a Bubble Package , with Branding.Built:The texture of the handle is rubberized and has a Matte finish.The casing is made from rolled single piece of stainless Steel.The lock is spring Loaded and you need to depress the latch to both open it and close it.Locking Mechanism : One issue which the company can improve on is that the Pivot Locking Pin on which the entire tress of the blade's Locking mechanism is based upon is a small brass pin...this could have been more beefier.BLADE: The balde is a double cut ( Slightly offset ) type blade that makes cutting an easy task.The blade is stainless Sleeel with an Falcon Industries Logo and Model Number lazer etched on it .Also the balde has a bit of flexibility this when if it catches in any material it flexes rather than breaking or bending.CUTTING: I cut small( 5-6 inch wide ) felled branches of a tree I came across rather easily within minutes.To test all its ability, I challenged it with this fallen tree ( in Image ), which I cut, it was bout 15 inches wide, this I managed to cut easily within 20 min, with least effort, was an very easy experience.The cost is very nice and is proper for its quality.This saw is now an essential in my wood clearing kit.USES: For emergency road clearing work, for Camp wood preparation, for backyard clearing, Wilderness Survival preparation, etc...many More uses.PS: The company should really market this saw also as a Survival equipment.
