Detek 009 Digital LCD Electronic Weighing Scale

I purchased this weighing machine 3 years back and I would like to highlight certain points.1. The weight it shows is close to accurate.2. The glass used is strong enough to bear the weight of even 150 kg person and it seems unbreakable.3. If you keep the switch in off position then you can use the battery for long but if you forget it then the battery drains out fast.4. The battery used is not normal pencil cells but it uses lithium coin battery.

Except that you need to be a little careful not to step onto the scale too hastily, this is a good product. If you do step onto the edge, it can tip to one side. I bought this from Amazon almost a year ago, use it everyday, and the battery only just ran out, which is great.For some reason though, it doesn't accurately measure smaller weights. Tested it with a 2.5kg dumbell, but it doesn't show any reading until the weight is increased, and even then it's off by a kg or so. But for larger weights, it's more accurate. I've compared my own weight on this scale with other weighing scales, and it's usually the same result, so it works fine for adults I guess.

The product is easy to use as well as to store it after use. I have been using it for 2 months now far it never failed to show the accurate weight or act all buggy.PROS- Auto display off after 10s of inactivity which is a good feature for saving the battery.- Shows weight in Kg ,Pounds and Stone , by pressing the buttone under the machine we can switch the weight mode.- Display automatically starts when we stand on the machine , no need to switch it on.- The build quality and the type of glass are very good for the given budget.CONS- The weight showing be buggy sometimes for a difference of maybe around 500-800gms very rarely it occurs.

When i got this weighing machine, it wasn't working. I thought it's a non-functional product. Before returning it, i just bought a new battery just to check whether it's an battery issue.. The machine works perfectly fine when i tried the new battery. Battery cost was around Rs 100. Looks good, easy to use as there are two units in kg and also in lb. Go for it.

The Glass stand is good. But the bases - whenever someone is getting on or getting off from the scale, it feels like it might break or crack. Accurate and good product - and has battery saver so auto off after few seconds.

The scale works fine and is as described. I received it quite soon, and it was securely packed. It shows weight in both pounds and kilos, and is powered by a small, replaceable battery. I would have given it five stars, but I am taking off one star only because the scale can sometimes flip up if you don't step carefully onto it with both feet. Also the operating instructions printed on the product are a bit small and not so easy to figure out immediately. Otherwise, it's great value for money. Definitely recommend.

This weighs human weight and few small things. Not for your luggage bags if you order like us! We had to weigh our luggage bags to go abroad and this actually didn't work properly but somehow we could manage to weigh by putting the bags horizontally. But still we doubted if it showed the correct weight until we checked in the airport. By God's grace it was correct! Over all an OK OK one for weighing luggage otherwise it is good for weighing human weight..

It's been 4 days since the product was delivered to me. The product is as displayed. Can't expect any better quality for this price. It does it's work. I tried my and other family member's weight multiple times and it gave consistent results with variations of about 100 gms which is acceptable. One should ensure that one stands on machine in the centre and looks up and waits a few seconds for his weight to stabilize.
