Nursery Rhymes: Book & CD

Its ok. i bought it for my 8 month old. the illustrations are beautiful but pretty complex for a young child. probably would suit an older kid. The actual dampener was the audio CD. the songs are sung really fast.. and a lot of them are just read out.. for a young child, the songs needed slow rythm and repetition which was missing. For eg. 'Mary had a little lamb' is read out instead of being sung.. why? why??But beautiful illustrations and a good collection of rhymes!

A fabulous book so well illiterates, good cd. My granddaughter love reading the book whilst we drive on along run to the summerhouse.

Lovely lovely book, fab selection of rhymes with lovely pictures. A gift for a little Spanish baby who will listen to the cd and learn English nursery rhymes.

Was attracted to the book/cd by the lovely illustrations- but the history of the nursery songs although interesting was not suitable for a small child to listen to in the car (which is why the product was purchased)
