PiperWai Natural Deodorant Jar (As Seen on Shark Tank)

UPDATE 8/18/19: I made a huge mistake by ordering directly from PiperWai. When I received my package, the oil had leaked out all over the inside of the box. I thought, "Oh, no worries. I'll just contact them for a replacement." Well, they don't have a phone number to call. You can only send a form on their Contact Us page. I went ahead and sent my message and got a response saying they wanted to see photos. I took photos and sent them. They replied again saying that they would not replace it and that all I had to do was stir up the product and it will work fine! Having had a lot of experience with this product, the oil leaking out will make the product unusable. It dries out easily and with less oil, it only gets worse.So, I'm stuck. I tried tweeting them to see if I could get someone to talk to me. They blocked me on Twitter!This is their idea of "customer service"? BUYER BEWARE.---------------------------------I'm on my 7th container of Piper Wai and ordered this version a few weeks ago. I too believed it was bogus because when I received it, it was VERY different from the others I'd ordered before. The color is much lighter, the weight is lighter (as though it has been whipped), the smell is different, and it doesn't work as well.I reached out to Piper Wai through their website and alerted them to this listing and guess what? They asked for the lot number (which I provided) and then said it's theirs. WTF. Here's what they actually said:"That looks like a perfect jar of PiperWai to us! Some variation in color, texture, and scent is normal with natural ingredients. When the jar is transported, oftentimes, the product does pull away from the jar walls and the ingredients get shuffled around. Once you give it a very thorough squishing with clean fingers, the ingredients will be reincorporated, and you'll have a perfect-smelling jar of PiperWai.Since this is not my first purchase, I've done this "squishing" thing already and it doesn't help. The previous 6 containers of Piper Wai that I've used had virtually no difference from the last. It always bugs me when a company doesn't listen to you, tries to make it seem like you're the crazy one for mentioning the defects.They offered to refund and send me a new one so we'll have to see if that's any better. If not, I'm done. This version is sub-standard and I feel like they're hiding something. I will report back when I get it. I hope your experience is better than mine but don't count on it.

So I purchased after seeing this on Shark Tank and waited several months to arrive. I love it and it works great. The original jar lasted about two months. With it taking so long to ship out I decided to purchase more ahead of time so I always had it on hand and don't have to resort back to the sticks. I found it on another website for about the same price and ordered it there. Completely disappointed , jars are smaller and the consistancy of the putty is completely different. Please review my pics so you can view the difference. The mix I got from the other website is thin , messy and you have to use more than the jars I received from PiperWai. If they've changed their recipe to this thin messy consistancy , then they've lost me as a customer. The original mix is thick , easier to use, jars last longer and arm pits stay fresh longer. I'll update once I purchase again from PiperWai . I really hope they stick to original mix I received, because it does work and it works well, and worth the wait!!

buy small deoderant tubes on amazon and fill this in them. works great and thy r refillable. i got about 10 pack cheap and filled almost all on 2 jars.

I was really excited to order this product, but should've listened to the "BUYER BEWARE" reviews that I had read previously.The product is clearly re-sealed and came USED. I added photos to show that when I received the product, even before opening it, you can see that it is old, dried out, and crumbling. Also, MOST OF THE PRODUCT ISN'T THERE!You can tell that this had been tampered with and re-sealed because of the visible air pockets in the jar. If it was a properly sealed, unused, and unopened product, there would be no room for air to get in an dry out the product.Also, to make things worse, when I opened the jar, there were two VISIBLE FINGERPRINTS that had been dipped into the product.

I saw it on Sharktank and got REALLY excited to try it. After my tried-and-true deodorant ran out, I decided to give it a go.My pits stayed relatively dry for a good long time. I had to reapply after working out, which it says to do on the directions. However, some of the chunks of deodorant sweated off onto my yoga towel during class. Kind of embarrassing.Because it’s made from activated charcoal, it goes on gray. Even though it’s in a stick form, you have to rub it in with your fingers so as to not get gray gunck on your white t-shirt (which sadly, I learned the hard way).And the smell: oh wow, is it strong!! It doesn’t blend so well with my regular lotion and favorite perfume, which is a bummer.I really wanted to love this product since it is aluminum free and the inventors are strong, inspiring women. But unless they can come up with a version that goes on clear and doesn’t smell as pungent, I’m going to go back to my regular deodorant.

2 months after purchasing, the entire jar is overgrown in mold. I was barely able to use the product before the mold started growing, and was initially unsure it is mold but the continued growth has confirmed it.

I was really disappointed because I’ve been using the jar version and it works great, but I ran out so I ordered the stick because I thought it’d be easier to apply. It must be a different formula because it does not work at all, I’m not an incredibly stinky person but I need deodorant and this did nothing. Get the jar.
