Crucial CT8G4SFS824A 8GB DDR4-2400 PC4-19200 CL-17 SODIMM RAM

Excellent for my Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming (7567) which had an 8GB Samsung DDR4 2400 MHz CL-17 RAM. The installation was pretty easy. Only one screw to be opened in this laptop and didn't even need a screwdriver. I opened it with a knife. Just installed and done. When I booted up, BIOS gave me an alert that memory amount had been changed. I clicked continue and it works like charm. Please YouTube for Dell Inspiron 7567 RAM replacement if you want to see the tutorial. In CPU-z, it shows Dual channel, as I wanted. There has been a drastic improvement in gaming performance. I used to get 40-45 fps in Battlefield 1 and now it's 65-70. Although I play with vsync on, so I get constant 60 fps which is exactly what I wanted. All micro freezing, stuttering, frame drops gone. If you're into gaming dual channel RAM of 16 GB is ideal because in 8GB, most of the ram is consumed by background apps like Chrome, etc. Just costed me ₹2,400. Worth every penny. Go for it without a second thought. Thanks to Amazon too for delivering it within 12 hours. P.S : Don't go for RAMs with higher speed like 2666MHz or with higher CL like CL-14, CL-15 or CL-16 as your BIOS automatically adjusts your RAM to the lower performing RAM. So, even a 3200 MHz RAM with CL-14 will be automatically adjusted to 2400 MHz CL-17. If you wish to upgrade to higher CL, you will have to change both the RAM sticks.

Works great with my default 8GB RAM of my Laptop of same cycle speed and frequency. First shutdown your laptop without power plugin, then install RAM.

The RAM stick wouldn't read in the first attempt, probably because the slot was collecting dust since it hadn't been used for 6 years. Had to fit it in well, clear out dust and after 3-4 attempts of my laptop not booting up due to loose contact, I finally got it working. Good product, it was probably an issue with my own motherboard than the RAM stick itself. To the merchant:- I damaged my Touchpad 6 pin ribbon cable in the process, do you sell those by any chance? My laptop had 4gb ram,so it use to cry always while running heavy softwares like autocad and 3ds max,but after installing crucial 8gb module in 2nd slot my total ram became 12gb and now my laptop is flying high,its like new life for it softwares running very easily.Also i want to specify earlier it was taking very long to render but now rendering became very easy and fast it takes very less time in loading.Ram upgradation is like a hard booster dose to my laptop,it was yearning for this upgradation now its got it.The ram is working pretty fine.I am writing this review after 1 month usage.Though the ram is unbuffered but i think any normal user would not be able to identify any difference in buffered and unbuffered ram so don't think much. I would suggest if your processor is good and still you are facing speed problems then definitely you should upgrade your ram you will definitely notice much faster speeds,less loading times and much more. Now is the right time to buy ram because ddr4 rams have become very cheaper,i bought this ram for 2500rs so i will suggest you to upgrade your ram and you might find some other brands much cheaper but i think it is easier to go with a trusted brand and crucial is one to buy without thinking twice.Go For It.

The memory module came quickly and carefully wrapped. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and had no issue installing the memory. It was not the same clock speed as the one it replaced (it is slower, 2400hz), but I don't think it makes much difference. It is more about increasing memory size, which helps load things into the memory, which helps with speed. Note that memory replaces your removable memory module only. There is a permanent 4GB attached to the motherboard (soldered?). I replaced the other 4GB with this new 8GB memory module, so I now have 12GB of total memory. 4 + 8 = 12

This 8 GB RAM Works for Dell 5379 bought in Singapore. I recommend this product and vendor. Check "slots" i.e the place to fix the RAM in your laptop by using "Windows > Task Manager > Performance > Memory" to ensure you have 1 slot free.
