Slim Timber: Wood is Good. The Walnut Wood Card Wallet is handcrafted out of walnut wood, leather, and an elastic strap. It is small enough that it makes a great front pocket wallet although it works as a back pocket wallet as well. The elastic strap holds the cards in place while the thumb grooves make it easy to remove them. This wallet is ideal for credit, business, and I.D. cards. You may even be able to fit a few dollar bills in there. The Wallet can fit up to 8 credit or I.D. cards and even more business cards. Dimensions: Width: 2.5" Depth: .56" Height: 3.625" Our Story: My wife and I are the team that make up Slim Timber. I have long been an entrepreneur and love working on and refining new projects/ideas. My wife is more on the artsy side. She loves photography and painting. Both of us love to make things. Especially by hand. There is a sense of pride that comes with it that just can't be beat. If you are a creator you know the feeling. We are based out of Boise, Idaho. All of the wood used in our wallets is hand selected by us. We do our best to choose unique pieces that will show off the beautiful and fascinating qualities of wood. Because the wallets are made of wood, each one will vary due to the grain and be just as unique as you are. That is what we love about them! Each wood wallet undergoes a personal inspection for quality before it is sent out. Thanks for your interest. We'd love to have your support! -Shane and India, Cofounders, Crafters, Husband & Wife

Great replacement to my George Costanza wallet.
I'm loving the Slim Timber wallet. Had it for 2 weeks now; used it to replace my George Costanza wallet and it's great. Fits in front pocket, back pocket, and honestly it's worth the $. it's a conversation piece - people comment as to how cool my wallet is. It's also durable, as I keep my wallet in the back pocket and it has not cracked (which happens with wood oftentimes, especially pine, which this is NOT made from).Bills need to be triple folded to fit, so you can't carry a ton of cash (which I hardly ever do), and if you have 20 single dollar bills, consider getting change. The most I've been able to fit into this with 6 cards is 5 bills. That said, if you put the bills in between two cards, it slides in and out of the wallet with ease.So far, two colleagues have expressed interest in, or have bought, this case.

It looks great, the reson that why I dropped one star is becuase it look a little bit light, I'll update the review for how long it will last, i think it has to be made from a stonger wood, it takes 8 credit cards as described. The color is like the photo, and it's small almost like the credit card size.

Works great if you don't use it!
I loved this little cardholder. It looked cool, the size was nice, and it was a decent conversation-starter..but then it broke after one month of use. I used it as often as I would use a regular wallet. It looks like the glue basically wore out. I never overstuffed it, I didn't play with the strap, I tried to be gentle with it.It sucks, this thing cost me like, $35 and I got maybe a month's worth of card-holding out of it. Based off of my experience, I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody.

This is a pretty well made card holder
This is a pretty well made card holder. What I like is it actually feels hand made. The wood is pretty nice, color is good and if you really wanted to use it just a wallet to hold cards it would work well. It's fairly thick but not so much so that it's a problem (at least for me). The one thing that I agree with on other reviews is that I can see the band that holds everything in place wearing out at some point thus rendering the whole thing useless. If there was a way to replace the band then it would be pretty much perfect. Overall though I think you'll be happy with your purchase.

Very Nice
Very nice wooden wallet! The wallet is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The elastic strap is functional for holding cards in. This didn't hold as many cards as my husband's front pocket all leather wallet but it does hold quite a few cards. It is stylish and functional. We are a little concerned about how long it will last and whether or not it might scratch up from being carried in the same pocket with keys. Overall, it seems like it will last a while and was a good price point. It was a nice and well received gift.

Beautiful, elegant, and durable
Having used this product for about a week, I can tell that it is durable enough to last. Nice solid sturdy wood with a beautiful finish and a minimalistic design. So far I've put 7 cards (credit cards, license, etc) without any difficulties. So much better than traditional wallets in the post cash society. Love it!

Good
I loved the size and look of this wallet but ended up breaking after a short period of time. It was easy to glue back together myself and I used it for a long time until I made my own.

Beautiful Card Wallet
I really like this business card holder. Beware though, this thing won't hold that many cards. Especially if the weight of said cards massively exceeds standard stock weight. Mine holds 5-6 cards on a stock that's close to 300 ppm.
