Karrimor Mens Caracal Trail Running Shoes Runners Lace Up

I'm a 15st chap with many years of running across different terrain under my belt. I've had these shoes for a week and for the price, I cannot imagine getting better shoes for multi terrain activity. I've ran several miles in these already across smooth wet asphalt, wet moorland, uneven rocky paths, up and down hill off road. They provide good cushioning and reassuring support on uneven surfaces, and traction on wet surfaces is more than acceptable. The tread is well spaced and reasonably deep resulting in almost zero slip on anything except deep mud. They are comfortable and light. I'm a size 12 and the size 12 fits perfectly. If you're looking for a multi purpose running shoe to wear on your average weather day, these are perfect. I wouldn't advise them for very wet and muddy off road surfaces - you'd be best to get your Innov8s for that - but as a general multi surface shoe, they're very good. 4 stars for durability as I can't grade that properly after one week, but so far they seem very good and well made.

Great shoes for amateur runners who want to get into cross country style of running as well as tarmac.Shoes fit brilliantly, been for 5mile runs without rubbing and causing blisters. The shoes were as comfortable as the price.Do not recommend for treadmill running.Easy to clean after running. Washing up liquid, hot water and a scrubbing brush, they come up great looking good as new-very durable.Would but again if needed

Wow! I didn't quite appreciate the value of a good pair of running shoes until I put these on today. I need to say that I've had my old pair for a long time and they've seen many a better day. Other reviews might give a better account of durability and wear, I'm not a hugely experienced runner. But for the money, I'd say they are a steal.They are very light, great arch support, immediately felt like putting on a tough old pair of well-made shoes. The first run was like running on air, with no concerns about grip whatsoever. All the impact was just melting into the very firm, springy sole. I went out of my way to splash through the mud and puddles, it was a joy. I wouldn't go in ankle deep boggy territory but anything else will be fair game. Also think they are very stylish with the flourescent highlights, not garish at all. I can't wait to get back out into those frigid Scottish hills!

This is my second pair of karrimor trainers and they are again absolutely superb. First run was 9 miles, not a rub or blister in sight. The waterproof lives up to its name after running in sleet, snow and muddy puddles my feet were very dry and warm. Good grip for trail trainers and an exceptional price, I was contemplating buying to top end trainers from Hoka but as I'm on a half marathon programme for a sub 1:42:00 these are just the trick as I run on mixed terrain.

Thin shoe which does rub more than the Asics pair I had before these. Though these do seem more sturdy and feel like they will last longer.Generally does enough. Good grip also

Love these trail shoes. My second pair. Being a long distance trail runner I go through shoes rapidly. Done over 1000 miles with my first pair.I have now bought a couple of extra pairs because they are on special offer.A must buy.Get the size above your normal shoe size. This allows you to run down steep hills without your big toe taking full impact on the shoe front.For leisure, just buy your normal shoe size.They look good too.

Good quality shoes. I got these for a tough mudder and they did the job well. They were a little tight so I stretched them out with newspaper. That said they were comfortable and got me round with our any issues. They have been for a spin in the washing machine and look good as new.
