Exactly what I was looking for to brighten up my bathroom. Bulbs arrived safely and are all in great working condition

Replacement for halogen bulbs to save on energy costs. These LED bulbs require a direct current (DC) supply, so I needed to buy new power supplies, as well as the bulbs. The bulbs themselves fitted the bulb holders without any issues, and deliver an acceptable light pattern, quite similar to that of the halogen bulbs, but using a tiny fraction of the power. All fine so far, but will have to wait years to find if the bulbslast as long as expected.

Replacements for halogens in the kitchen, bought the cool white ones first but they were far too bright for what I wanted so then bought these warm white ones and they are ideal. They flickered on the old halogen transformers, which other people had warned may happen, so bought the LED transformers from the same company, just fitted them and everything working perfectly.

The 40 degree spread of light significantly brightens the whole room and in turn there are less shadows when shaving etc….

They start flickering after a bit of use. Not durable.

This products provides great lighting quality with a massive reduction in energy use. I have nine spot lights in my kitchen and replaced 50W builds with these. This resulted in nine new builds using less energy than one of the original lights. My smart meter and my wallet were very happy.These builds are slightly longer than my original ones so they protrude a few mm's out from the ceiling. They look great and are easier to take out when the time comes to replace (originals difficult to take out and would often break during removal). All in all, fantastic, energy efficient lights that were great value for money.

The bulbs seemed mostly okay and are pretty bright however they all emit an audible buzz. In addition, one of four light sockets would cause the bulb(s) to rapidly flicker and would suggest a bad transformer. I tried some equivalent Tesco LED bulbs which initially seemed fine, but would flicker just like before only minutes later. Fortunately, equivalent Phillips LED bulbs work flawlessly. They are a bit more expensive, but less than the cost of a new transformer :)Would these bulbs work okay with a proper LED transformer? Probably.Am I happier to use more expensive Philips LED bulbs to avoid needlessly replacing transformers? Absolutely yes. Transformers don’t just cost money either, it’s also a lot of time and effort. Unlike these bulbs, they are a drop-in replacement for halogens.Hope this is helpful for someone as I was starting to think I’d have to just buy more halogens.

habe mich von den "stromfressenden" Halogenleuchtmitteln verabschiedet und bin sehr zufrieden. Auch ohne den Trafo zu wechseln perfektes Licht und dazu wesentlich preisgünstiger. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
