Just One Audio Engineer’s Perspective
The media could not be loaded. First off I haven’t fully tested it but… so far so good. For the price point your not losing out as the wide variety of applications can easily pay itself back over. In saying that it is not going to impress you all throughout the delicate sounds but can come in handy for an all around on the fly adjustable figure 8 for blumlein if you have 2 which I intend down the line a bit. Also can be used as a spaced pair in Omni. So I’m saying that I round off to the biggest thing I can say someone may have difficulty with. This is the inherent noise that is sitting at 15dB. This means really quiet sounds will be hard to pick up without cutting something out to relieve hearing the sound as much or at all… someone who is starting out needs a mic like this to be able to learn how to do such things so I’d recommend definitely for anyone. It’s a great mic (for the price) you can’t beat it! Heavy Metal design if you don’t mind it go for it!I will leave an update when I actually record instruments and vox with it! For now seems to be a decent mic…
