OXO Good Grips Multi-Purpose Kitchen and Herbs Scissors

Ok it's been a while since I wrote a review, but these are the best kitchen scissors ever. The tiny serrations are barely noticeable but they absolutely cut through everything. Like all OXO good grips products, the grip is freaking awesome, it's soft and textured and is even to hold even if your hands are slippery. The herb stripper is one of the coolest ideas ever and it makes stripping Rosemary so easy, I'm not sure about cilantro yet but I plan to try that soon, either way they blow the Farberware scissors from my old knife block they're replacing out of the water (which admittedly isn't hard to do). Highly recommend. I have a growing collection of OXO Good Grips stuff and I've been really happy with all of it so far. Their Salt and Pepper grinders are also super top notch. For 20 bucks, I don't think you can do any better, I checked out some of the larger brand's models and they seem less comfortable and no more durable for twice the money. I also like that the blades come apart, it makes them really easy to clean, I imagine easy to sharpen too, but with the serrations I doubt sharpening will be necessary any time soon (if ever). I'll be recommending these for a loooong time to come.

These work great - the fine tips can get in for precision work, but overall the scissors are very sturdy and up for whatever kitchen tasks I have ever needed. They easily come appart for cleaning - by hand or in the dishwasher.

This is the first pair of kitchen scissors I've purchased, and I'm only sorry I didn't buy them sooner! These scissors work really well whether I'm using them to cut fresh herbs or chicken. They're plenty sharp and easy to work with. OXO recommends hand-washing them, which is no problem because they come apart easily for thorough cleaning, and are equally easy to reassemble. I bought them after seeing them recommended in New York Times Wirecutter article. I haven't used them on pizza, but that day will come! Good price, quick delivery. I'm very happy with this purchase-highly recommend.

As is usual for Oxo products, these re very good kitchen shears at a reasonable price. They separate, making them easy to keep clean. I’d definitely buy again.

Fabulous scissors! Super sharp & separates for very easy cleaning - no rusting. Cuts like butter, even through tough artichoke leaves. Every OXO product I've ever had has been excellent quality.Wish OXO made quality shower heads! Have been searching for a good one (for less than $100.) for a long time. Even Delta & Moen's renowned quality seems non-existent these days. Seems like every company has 'caved' to the cheap China-made crap that falls apart in short time. Sad.

Excellent scissors. Strong and sharp. Excellent for cutting herbs (specifically Rosemary, which can be pretty tough) and anything else you want to cut in the kitchen. Can't beat the price from Amazon too, from the local hardware, they were literally more than double the price and they refused to price match, so Amazon got the deal. Good value for money.

The larger handle loops are easier to get into. The blades are well calibrated and very sharp. The two pieces detach easily for cleaning out gunk. Maybe a little too easily, but I’m getting used to that. Generally, way better than standard kitchen scissors. Love them.
