JBL Bar 1300XMK2-11.1.4 Channel soundbar System with Detachable Surround Speakers & Dolby Atmos & DTS:X, 1570W max Output Power & a 12" Wireless subwoofer (Black)

I've had the 9.1 for 4 years (so basically when you amortize the cost of it was less than $1 a day for using it) and really enjoyed it and thought it was time to upgrade after reading some of the reviews of this system. Bottom line; is it worth the upgrade? Definitely yes. Basically the surround is much more expansive and sophisticated. While the 9.1 had the rear surrounds sort of in your face in terms of volume the upgrade has them much more subtle because of all the extra speakers in the front The rear is just now compliment the soundstage rather than pushing it. So at first when you set it up and listen you'll think that the rears are very much underpowered but they aren't especially when you have a good atmos source where when they really shines with overhead effects and behind your effects being much more noticeable. Also the increase in the size of the subwoofer enables you to have incredible bass if you want the volume really loud but for me it's more important to have the base come through at lower volumes which this does and which I wasn't able to get on the 9.1. Always add to pump up the volume on that one which made it too loud for the rest of the house. Overall I'm extremely happy that I did this and with my 100-inch Hisense in my 16x6 theater room it's like being at the movies. and after several more days of listening to this I'm not really appreciating the expanded sound stage compared to the 9.2.

Great value and better sound IMO when compared with comparable Bose and Sonos systems. Big sound and totally immersive when calibrated properly. I cheated on the calibration process by moving the rear speakers further back during the second part of the process. It gave me more volume to the rear which I really like. Love this soundbar. The sound quality is outstanding. Setup was super easy and straight forward. Would buy again. Only negative is the rear speakers run down after 4-5 hours but recharge pretty quickly. I just always leave them on the soundbar and only take them off when watching a big movie so it’s 4.75 stars for me.

So far so good. I replaced a Denon 9.1 surround sound receiver with Boston Acoustic 5.1 speakers with this. I dont miss my old setup at all. Most of the time I leave the end speakers attached to the bar that i have mounted under the tv and it still sounds great. When watching a movie I move them to the surround positions and the Atmos really sounds great. It can get very loud, like rattle the house loud and the bass is very punchy and deep. I love that the eARC works fantastic so All I need is a single remote. I use my Roku Ultra primarily so its really the only remote i need. Turns everythgin on and off and adjusts the volume. Highly recommend this bar.

I love the JBL Bar 1300xmk2! It turns every movie and tv show into a surround sound masterpiece! Especially with Dolby Atmos content and a personalized detachable rear speaker setup makes you feel like you’re in the movie. Been using these speakers almost every day for about a month and have no complaints! They work as they should and super seamlessly, the rear speakers are easy to attach and detach to charge and there very loud and the bass is super cinematic! It’s like going to the movie theater but in your home! Definitely recommend!

Get product. love the night listening feature. I have both rear speakers by my bed and turn on night listening and the sound is great. It also have the rain , ocean, forest and city features that you can play to help you sleep. The greatest feature is how loud and clear the jbl 1300x mk2 is. Not to mention the easy install.

The JBL 1300XMK2 is exactly the upgraded soundbar system I've been wanting. I currently have the JBL 1000 soundbar and I couldn't wait for Black Friday sale to take advantage. Its a powerful 1300W system with a huge 12" wireless subwoofer that can shake the house down, 2 wireless detachable rechargeable surround speakers and the amazing technology front speakers with 11.1.4 Dolby Atmos plus more. What else do you want me to say? I absolutely love it! Anyone interested or thinking about one: without a doubt, buy it!

Get Samsung 990, I just got this JBL 1300XMK2 and can't believe had bad it is. The surround sound is very bad. I have spent over 6 hours with tests, dolby atmos test videos, adjustments I have tried I think everything and it just sounds like a loud center speaker. The real removeable speakers just suck, the output is so weak I got support on the on the phone and we told that is how they work. Unless you are put them right next to you inches away you can not hear anything from them. I mean really bad. I see other people say this too but wow its really bad. For this price this is unreal. The bass is good but sometimes strange in when it goes off. I also tried this with playstation 5 pro and same results. I mean my $200 bose pc bar sounds 10 times better. Working with amazon to return this which seems to be a very hard process for some reason, I have now talked to amazon twice and waiting for a call back. Strange
